Reducing necromancy

Hi! How can be necromancy reduced to half like in HoTA? I search through hota files to find a settings like that but i guess is set through exe or dll files.

It is enough to to change 3 of 32bit memory values. So 3 UN:C codes or nice bin file. Sorry that i don't have adresses, but it is in the table of SS helper values. (these values contains premies in number dependent on SS and SS level).

If someone has addres of the table i would be thankful. The table is described in ERM Help.

Hi, majaczek! I played your Knightmare Commanders Mod and is fantastic, but i want to modify the amound of experience that commander receive from hero to low level, and i don't know where is that part of code into erm file. Can you illuminate me?

You mean Paladin speciality? it's done via BIN file. You have source of bin file in txt file, so you can modify it and use BINMAGIC to convert it into BIN file.

So you can use same address but another value. BIN file source (txt file) contains address of old number and new value. So you want to modify the value and produce bin file. Originally WoG utilize code whichj works like: if paladin multiply gained exp by 150 then divide by 100. So old value is 150 and in my file new value is 250 (noted as FA - it is hex number). so if you don't change the 100 number only the 150 number you need use same adress and value between 1 and 255 which would be percentage of exp paladin gets.

txt file source is
76968d FA

first is adress second is value, so if you want by example paladin get half of xp file would be

76968d 32

(32 is hex of 50)
to convert hex to dec and dec to hex - use windows calculator in programmer mode (under view)

if you simply don't want the 250% but old 150% it is enough to disable the BIN and TXT file in plugin manager.

Thanks a lot! I understand for Knightmare Commanders Mod (i mean i want to reduce all bonuses because they level up to quickly), but for reducing necromancy i am still in fog. What i must do to reduce necromancy for necromancy secondary skill, necromancy from necromancy amplifier, for all 3 artifacts of necromancy. I want to se them to 30% of normal to make necropolis playable. It is necessary for NewLevelUp Screen Mod because there any type of hero can choose necromancy from level up screen. So, to make necromancy more decent, i want to reduce to 30 or 40 % of normal.

Hi, majaczek! I have a question to you related to Kightmare Commanders mod: how can i disable all bonuses that commander gives them to the hero that belongs? I search through you erm file and i disable some lines but the bonuses are still given. You can be very helpfull if you can tell me which lines must be disable to mantain the commanders abilities but not hero abilities given by commanders.
There are spells that hero can not cast into battle and many annoying messages are generated during quick battle.

Here is a mod I wanted long time, HD mod has it but I have problems with HD mod, so now will work in era.

Army Management

Hold Shift + right-click on stack to divide that stack in equal parts
Hold Control + right-click to divide that stack in 1 creature stacks
Hold Alt + LEFT-click to unite all creatures of same ID in one stack

Note: Only a max of 4 warlord banners can be stacked on one stack, therefore when you unite stacks having multiple banners, all banners except one will be placed in backpack

Growing number of keybord shortcuts in heroes mods makes me think that we are going to need extra panel for playing besides keyboard in the future. Initial concept...

Heh, one day. However there are very few mods using new shortcuts until now (3-5 out of 130 I think), and those from last mod are 100% same as HD mod. If somehow it grows, we shall contact B. Gates and ask for some revolutionary concept, like keyboard tattooed directly on skin, or add instead legs (whet we need them anyway, never going out) some terminals and so on.

Version of Heroes 3

Hey guys i used to play this version of heroes with mithril bars
and like lots of new types of monsters but i couldn't find it anywhere
correct me if im wrong the version i played was :
Heroes 3.5 - WoG and Beyond - thats why i came here

Hi i have a small problem with Graphic and portraits mods.
When i try to install them a pop-up window appear and say i miss a dll: MSVCR120.dll

i found it on google and copied in windows/system32 but nothing i get same error

what should i do?
