It can't work in trainer, as it uses wog graphics to substitute (mithril mine is coded as event). The only way it could work is in Safe Sod, as it will work only on sod maps without changing graphics.
Then is not cheat, not more than "neutral split", "seer huts displayed" and other. When you step on some event which kills your army, you will not restart game but reload autosave, so it just saves your time of doing that. It gives no other advantage -it does not show what is inside event, but only that there is an event so you can save before- than you would have just by reloading.
Anyway, probably not needed in majority of maps, but this Jedi Story, with its 200 events, drove me crazy.

It makes it easier to avoid them when that is possible but why not make it in a separated mod? If I got the spirit of Safe SoD right, people use it to reduce randomness and save time not to avoid traps and enable cheats.
Safe sod has two purposes, the first -what you've said, the second -provide cheat menu to avoid restart game for rush style. Like seeing how your hero will develop, what spells are in guilds and such things. For me it will save time to see where are the events in any map, but is a subjective opinion, as I strongly dislike 9999 azures dragons event which you can't see while being the next step.
Anyway, I see there is no real demand, so I will just use it locally, for those annoying 200 events maps. Thanks for feedback, guys.
If so, can you please run seer huts mod and report if you get the graphics when opening the special dialog. (right click on quest log in adventure map screen). Thanks.
