I looked how Cove is organised and installed it next to Abode .There was no problem with the hero pictures but there was no number order in the json files.Everything was in the "old way"


You can create additional first hero with tag "special":true, so he will not appear in game (only in map editor). So you never see that he has no avatar

Its the last version of the mod (1.22).The same as posted on first page.It has the mentioned bug.The version Im working at ATM is too unorganised to post right now so Im sure this one will do fine

I've tested it with latest version and it looks OK. And now I vaguely remember fixing a bug that could have caused such behavior. So everything should be OK in next version.

I have a question.How to lower the efect of the spell ? I want to weaken the resurrection strenght so it would restore about 20-25% health it normally would or just limit it to max health it restores.I have used something like this,unfortunately no effect :

the other thing i want to achieve is lower the mana needed for particular spell.I used this command

but this lowers the mana costs for all spells,not just one.What is interesting,when i look to the spell book before battle the costs are the same but during battle they are modified in the spellbook.Any ideas?

This doesn't make much sense, value of SPECIFIC_SPELL_DAMAGE is just multiplied by stack size.

There is no way to do that. This ability works just the way it worked in original Heroes 3, reducing cost of all spells.

Also, do not use number for spell, just type spell id to avoid confusion.

Well,on VCMI site there is a description of SPECIFIC_SPELL_DAMAGE that is used as hero bonuses and looks like this  :

SPECIFIC_SPELL_DAMAGE

 subtype = id of spell
 val = value in percent (Luna, Ciele)

I believe you meant SPECIFIC_SPELL_POWER well if not this bonus then which one ? Is it possible to do ?

You can make hero spell weaker with SPECIFIC_SPELL_DAMAGE and negative value. You can't, however, make only one spell cheaper.

Ok the new town version is out
I created new special abilities,new ability icons for most of heroes and two biographies ( longer for Desini and shorter for Kilyne ).Also new defs for phoenixes and commanders are used.The download link is on the first page

EDIT : I uploaded a new (1.24) version, because I found a crash while using fire magic, because of bad ability setup in Sae.json.Now everything works well.

At the same time there is a little update with the creature defs.I made some images for the new Abode Pixies ( big&small icons and map defs ) They look different than the original ones now.

For me you should keep the normal Pixies/Sprites in Abode and put Halflings in the Conflux. Or Halflings in Abode and Pixies in the Conflux.

Damn those halflings ^^ As i said i wont change the linup and especially for them because :

1.I dont want them ^^
2.The town already has 2 shooting creatures
3.Its H2 sorceress linup,and hopefully it will stay that way No major change ^^

I need other pixies so to not confuse them with the original ones.Just looking at these pixies makes you wanna have them all in the city

Yup. Those would do. I'd go for orange pixie that upgrades in... Ideally a Red Sprite, but Green or Teal can do too.

I adjusted the mod a bit,so it works well now with VCMI 0.94 and its new, nice launcher All the files needed are inside the mod so it doesn't need wog anymore.New 1.25 is ready to download.I'll check If there are some bugs during gameplay and all the rest when I have some more time

Merry Christams guys,have a peaceful day Here's my christmas present for You.I made a new Town based on H2.This time its Necropolis



As in the last town there are 6 level creatures but this time I decided to change the linup a bit and its all thanks to the great work you did with creating new creatures.I removed the zombies and added skeleton hounds.Banshees have been put instead of Vampires.The Skeletons have been nerfed down.You can see some of the changes here :

Everything was tested on vcmi 0.93

It looks exaclty as was in HMM2 (in Succession Wars it is changed).

Maybe someday you will make all of HMM2 towns
