Hugging,
We're standing near the window,
Knowing that it's about time
To say goodbye.

Our last station, here it is.

Honey, just look in my eyes,
Please, don't say anything.
Let us just fix our scarves
With cold fingers.

Like water it flows
Formless and endless
Reflecting the hate into my eyes

Quietly it pours
From the heavenly hole
Straight into my palms

But what can it mean?
For me it a distorted reality
Invisible to most of the people
Of this evil society

And it flows
And it pours
As it evermore will

Chronicle - The Patched Prelude

Fresh from the loses plenty
Time kills all
How I wish it killed all
Now fresh from the loses plenty

Seeing it makes the river run
Water purest, water holy and clear
With hand only to change it's way
With hand only and only for a day

Joyful and elegant is the life of mine
The great master of all observes
The great master of all deserves
This joyful and elegant life of mine

Questions appear where answers once were
I lay shrouded in ignorance
Neck-deep, soon to drown
In the questions that appear where answers once were

Then light comes
And I remember all that I need
Now that I'm wide awake from the deep slumber
Now that I'm wide awake and  evidently number

Don't be, we connect when we can - some folks are always able and never do.

Well, the thing is that I don't live a happy life.  Far from it, actually.  This nonsense I've been spewing in this thread (plus a bunch of other stuff I have written in some notebooks) is nothing more than a way of relaxing, so to say..

How can it be nonsense if you are using it as a tool? No reply necessary. <S>

NoobX said:
It's not that I don't want to write about positive things, though, it's just that I don't have any means or ideas concerning that.

I understand your emotions that arrive from real-time experience; imagine what it is like to be ground to dust while you still breath and you'll be playing in my neighborhood. However, thankfully reaching out to others is not nonsense either.

About the I don't have anything or I don't feel like it, head out to a beautiful scene (void of people if possible) and record all you see, as if you were taking a camera to snap the scene. Write about what you admire, how colors strike you or the antics of animals and birds. You get the idea, it short you are a "witness." My reason for my non nonsense is it gets my mind on other things, like a book, but we can take a higher step and bring forth something from us that is more than just reactions to the nasties in life. Everyday I'm doing the very same but since my body fails-me, I have to rely on my past life experiences to supply the pictures needed for the backdrop of my words. Regardless, of my peril I still laugh and sometimes very well.

As always Noob and all others...Make it Great!

Btw, For the record; Thank you for communicating with me at times about life, you've been a help to me at times when I have needed to...remember.

Oooh nice, Marky is actually giving some pretty good advice. It's not necessarily what you do, but just observe your environment, note the things that you like what you don't like, record your aversions and attractions. You gotta build self awareness bit by bit, this is the basic process of getting to know yourself. Tolstoy wrote something very relevant that: "Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold", it is the same with self discovery. So it's not so much that you have no interests, it's just you don't know yourself enough to know what your interests are.

Idk if you watch anime, but Fate/Zero has an amazing character with the same dilemma, except instead of looking at a picturesque landscape he makes notes on people, and eventually discovers himself. That instead of a boring holy man he is a sadist that wants to see the world burn, he is astounded and thrilled by the discovery and experiences true joy for the first time in his life.

No, I dig Shaun the Sheep for some reason but not much else.

Anyway, as to your advice; I guess if a person cannot access nature than that would indeed be a good move. I've always been an outgoing lad/old-man <g> and enjoy people and even the grumpy ones but it's nature that sets me right...always and forever. <L>

Like water. If I can be around a small waterfall or even a fountain in a pond etc. it's a soothing natural God-given medicine that heals me. When I sit in the woods, the sound of the wind can do the very same. I don't think I'm alone in this, I believe it is a gift and one meant for us all to enjoy, if only we will spend that time.

Hey, I am still human even though we're two very different personalities.  I believe that the most humanly topic to talk about is life itself, which is something many people do not find as such.

Chronicle - The First Fragment

Morning
Oh sweet morning
Would you just go away?
I don't need this now
This horrible pain
In my eyes

This new start seems so distant
From the usual reality
It cuts me in half
Makes me less... me

Now my conscience grows
Now I am afraid
Of the unknown

Into the vessel I go
With a dozen more souls
On a road to who-knows-where
Anxiously I tear
This imagery
Apart

... and then the door swings ajar

Honey and Mint
O Captain! My Captain!

The night is finite,
The day's on the way.
Forever astray,
Totally weakened,
The sky-colored kite
Whirls in the wind,
In a dim light
Of an old beacon.

Chronicle - The Second Fragment

All was new
All was so strange
Mesmerizing

I stood in front of the doorway
I didn't know what existed behind it
Doom
Or
Salvation

Thoughts
Going through my mind
At random

Where do I go from here?

Solitude
My one and only true friend
I didn't welcome you with open arms

Forgive me
I was mistaken for so long
You are the sincere one

When everyone else
Gave up on me
You came to lend me a shoulder

I understand
What I need to do
To repay you all you've given me

Chronicle - The Third Fragment

I sat
Not amused
But scared

"Who are these people?"
I kept asking myself
Time and time again

One I remeber
His head in the skies
Not hesitant to set you wise
That he is in charge

Another
Is a friend
With a shoulder to lend
But do not step on this bull's tail
If your body is weak and frail

There was one more I recall
The one for whom I'd eventually fall
The mysterious enigma
The tau for my sigma
The completion of stigma

Memories flash yet again...

"A Quick Stroll"

I first arrive at Stout-Point
but there is nothing there
and I don't feel any stouter.

To the left...Castle-ditches?
now that seems grand
but no castle just ditches.

To the right...Ham
Isn't this name missing something?
Like, "let" but perhaps tis too small.

I cross the Colhugh
but my feet arn't wet
and bones not chilled.

I pass the Tanyard
and don't look
nor smell.

To the N.W. lies Malitant Castle
but it's too far away to see
or touch.

I come to two Framptons
one great one small
which one Peter?

I then see Highfield
but feel low
and turn in my chair.

Chronicle - The Fourth Fragment

Days passing in a monotonous fashion
Did not tell me of this distraction
I didn't observe anything around
Till I finally hit the ground
Till I finally heard the sound
Of the siren calling me to sail into the reefs
Then I questioned my belifes

Is it genuine, or is it fake?
Am I waiting to be bitten by a snake
Drop dead, fall off my feet
Let the vultures feast on my meat?
Whatever the answer, I'm not falling for it.

But I put my hands into the fire...

Dead Machine Head

The world's gone mad
while I've grown old
Now I'm quite sad
my poor tale's told

Machines rule minds
making only soft ware
under the moon, blind
misplacing their care

For Sylvan ghosts lurk
outside living-tomb walls
from muck and mirk
pungent beauty calls

Step to the bog
then walk the glade
Sit on a log
and rest in the shade

Soon night will come
chasing sunlight away
Earthly journey done
after life's last day
