Ok, let me see ...
2000 - Real won the Champions League
2001 - They were semifinalists
2002 - They won the Champions League again
2003 - They were semifinalists again
By which standards is Real not a good team?

No, but you were close
"Pele", Edson Arantes de Nascimento
Gullit, Ruud
Koeman, Ronald
And you left out Franz Beckembauer (Germany) and Johan Cruyff (Holland). I wouldn't imagine an all-time line-up without them.

IMO Real are quite a good team, but also IMO Juventus are better.
2003 - Juventus bet Real to make the finals in the champions league

that "****head" would be John Terry one of the most promising defenders in the league?
lol your such a tosser, you can hardly blame Terry for that mistouch when frandsen simply walked through Glen Johnson at then hit the pass in which struck Terry and made it an own goal. Blame Chel$ki the team instead for such a fatal loss of stamina, chel$ki did dominate the game but Cudicini had to pull of some nice saves too. If you are to have a go at the championship you cant see your team get torn apart by some counter attacks and a massive defensive.
IMO this was chel$ki the whole teams loss, trying to judge someone as a ****head just because he was the unlucky one to get struck by the ball is just stupid.
Just as stupid as saying that Juve is a better team than Real, going through on aggregate against the other team doesnt make you better. Being consistant over the whole season does, and if you ask which team anyone would prefer to play early in a knock out stage of real and juventus im confident that almost all the answers would be on juventus.

Edson Arantes do Nascimento
I'm 99% sure that Ukes is from Netherlands, Holland(well... you got it) or Russia. If you are doing a list of the "legends" of football, you certainly must include some more names in there, as Zico(Arthur Antunes Coimbra), voted as the best brazilian player in the last 20 years. Another one is Garrincha(Manoel Francisco dos Santos Nascimento), the first player that made the spectators of a game say "Olé!". There are some Argentinean players that deserve the title too, but I can't name them(don't remember so many names).
I never had heard of Oleg Blohin or Lev Yashin, maybe they are famous by their nicknames(was one of them a goalkeeper? if so, I have heard). I don't agree with the name of Ruud Gullit, Johan Cruyff was much better.
Maybe Paolo Rossi could join the list too, it really needs some Italian names.

Real did win the champions league, but couldn't handle Boca in the intercontinental, as couldn't Milan now, Boca, proved to be the best team of the world, and their players don't cost millions

I don't think Boca Juniors is the best team of the world. It is the team that in Brazil we call "copeiro" (used to play well Cup games). If they were to play more matches against Milan I am sure they would lose the title.
I am not saying that Boca Juniors isn't a good team. Actually it is one of the best in the world in the last years. Its coach(I don't remember the name now) is really great, as some players. But saying that a team is the best in the world just by winning a game in the penalties, six months after winning the "semi-finals"(Libertadores da América), isnt a complete truth. But it is a title of World Champion, and should be celebrated.

lol those super cup games are just viewed as a publicity thingy and a chance to rest some players for the big european teams.
All the respect to the argentinian and brazilian teams but i think each one of them would struggle to stay up in for example the premiership.
Did anyone of you see roberts two rockets against tottenham btw? damn the 2nd one from 35 yards was a friggin missile lol

I saw it. Pretty good, though I like first one more...
Anyone watched Ronaldo and friends vs Zidane and friends? Just awful, I'll never ever watch again these kind of matches. 0-0 between Milan and Juventus with 105 fouls would be better to watch...

I am not corinthiano (Corinthians suporter), actually it is completely the inverse. But I can remember a tournament in 2000 that some European team have their *** kicked by some Brazilians ones. The tournament was a joke, but the matches were real.
And just some weeks ago São Paulo(my team) went to Europe and won by 6 x 3 against Bolton, then, a draw against Manchester Utd(mostly reserves).
Dont go saying such things.

IMO both the tournament and the matches are a joke. There is nothing "real" in a game which by european teams usually is seen as a friendly game.
As things are now many top clubs plays 60+ games each season, meaning really important games like league, cups, european cups. They frankly give snow about some all media hyped toss game between europe and south america.
You talk about that cup in 2000, well that cup Man utd didnt even want to join but were forced to by english FA to increase their chanses to get 2006 FIFA world cup.
In interviews after the tournament the european players admitted this was like a vacation to them and a chance to get some rest in the middle of a hectic season.
Meanwhile i can understand that south americans believes these cups/super cups to be of big importance because thats when their teams get to fight with the best in their opinion dont expect that us europeans feel the same way because to us the best competition already exists in champions league.
The harsh truth is that other competitons are more or less seen as a game to test new players, let a player to play in an "important game" in order to keep him happy... or a toss if you wanna call it that.
