What does 'monster strength' change?

Okay, I couldn't google the answer. I tried. Sorry.

So what does 'monster strength' actually change when making a random map? The editor gave me no clue. Seems it's the same monsters and same numbers on they spawn with to me.

Thanks

Well, monster strength... as in, the stronger the setting is, the bigger their starting numbers. I don't think it affects their disposition though, still able to diplo-farm them given sufficient army.

Yeah, disposition is always the same.

I think it's more correct to say that monster strength increases the maximum spread range, I think. They don't actually have to be stronger (more), but there's definitely much more on arrange. That's why I didn't notice the increase, because those I just happened to check was in the normal spread range.

I can tell that random map templates take strength into consideration. Each zone can have weak, normal or strong monster settings. On weak setting, most of treasures are unguarded, while on hard setting everything is guarded, even single resource piles.

Not sure how it is related to in-game setting for RMG, though. There is a chance that different subset of templates is used.

No need to be sorry, friend. I appreciate you sharing. Sorry if it didn't sound like that.

Pretty sure there's not more of the higher level monsters. I think that's controlled via zones only. It looks like that to me, anyhow.
