Help me test a TV commercial for my studies
Currently I am studying Advertising online and since one of my assignments involves the testing of a TV commercial, I've decided that I'd have some young adults on this site (18-30-year-old men and women) test a commercial as part of this assignment.
The commercial in question is for BankSA's Sense Accounts, and the commercial is a few years old but I thought it would be good to get some feedbacks from all of you.

After watching this commercial, I would like for you to tell me what you thought:
- Did the actors do a good job in the commercial?
- Was the soundtrack appropriate?
- Did you believe the target market would consider the product?
- Would you consider trying the product as a result of this commercial?
- Is there anything that needs to be changed?
- Would you make an entirely different commercial instead?
Please feel free to leave your feedback as soon as possible, preferably before November.

1. I was pleasantly surprised by the actors' performance, expected worse from them.
2. The soundtrack was jarring, and drowned out the speaker at times, a major drawback IMHO.
3. No, because very little was said about the actual product.
4. The music, definitely.
5. Nah, just change the voiceover a bit to include some details about the specific product. My impression was: Having a bank account is cool! I'd be hard-pressed to provide any other details if asked... I don't think that's a good reaction marketing-wise.

trogdor i would give inpit if i was in the age range you need
i will say the commercial was poor in a few respects - but im past age 30 so i get to be lazy on this one

1. Range from decent to good
2. No, but I don't think there's any soundtracks really appropriate for a commercial about banking
3. No, don't know what it is
4. Some information about the product would be nice
5. Don't know enough about it

1. Decent enough of a job
2. Yes, as its meant for people between the ages of 18-30
3. Assuming they have the need for it yes, whether the commercial is creating such need, no
4. No.
5. Yes, young people need to be intrigued which means the commercial must be either "funky" aka creative/funny/eye capturing or "productive" aka must deliver the message in a manner that says "you have a problem A, this is your solution for it" their message was vague at best...
6. Yes, as stated above, not necessarily an enitrely different one but I would certainly add some flair to it...

This tries very hard to be trendy, and mostly succeeds. Except the fact that they have Australian accents is distracting.

- I assume that younger population was targeted, so soundtrack is ok.
- As a result of this commercial, no. There was too few information about the product.
- Definitely add more info of the product.
- That is really not my field, but I wouldn't remake commercial entirely. I'd probably add some description of the product at the end.

Ha I remember this commercial well. And thought it was a bit up itself then. Actually it used to annoy me lol.
Feedback.
Actors - yeah fine.
The soundtrack sucked big time. But I understand why they picked it.
The target market would probably consider the product from the commercial, as its showing obviously successful people with no financial problems enjoying their bloody selves.
No the product wouldn't have had me transferring my money from the ANZ.
Yes, the soundtrack, and more information on exactly how they would help save money. I personally don't fall for the pretty packaging.
I would probably not include so much "isn't life damn easy" snow.
