Heroes 3 Crash
I keep crashing in soe from a modified map I made myself of beachen map.
I modified it quite noobishly. What are things that cause it to crash?
It just keeps doing it no matter how many times I reload it.
I realize that I have overlapping objects like a small tree stump in a forest or mountain's over mountain's. Are these things crashable?
If so then I'll probably just redo the map all over again.

I modified my game too. I have the problem - I maked new defs and when i changed the elf, than it it crash everytime when i shoot with it (i maked the shoot def)

To my experience that happens randomly, When exactly does it crash? during the opponents turn i presume? Stacked treestumps/mountains are not a problem as far as i know.
It can be stopped by forcing the computer to make another move sometimes....i do not know how and why exactly, but i had it too in the past

Bump
Gonna piggy back off of this, as my post count is too low to make my own topic Q_Q
anyhow, I keep having this issue on WoG. Whenever I try starting a new scenario, I can click new game, then single player, and after that, I see part of the next screen, but I get an error and it crashes. I have tried reinstalling wog multiple times, and I can't reinstall the original game since I had it on a flash drive (legal copy) but the flash drive has since been broken. The error is as follows:

From where did you get wog? Get ERA II and run it in a CLEAN h3 sod/complete install.
I don't really understand your issue with flash drive but you can get it for peanuts on gog.com.

Yeah I think that's obsolete, get ERA II from the link I provided above and, it's very important, that you make a clean install of h3 before installing wog/era. Then should work fine.

Please stop pasting those error reports, they are useless in that state.
A better approach would be to specify your OS, if you have a valid game version, where is the game installed, what mods you activated, which map is being played and such things. Read manual.

Ok in order, Windows 8.1, I believe the game is valid, It's on the desktop in a folder named Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete, nothing active and I can't even get to the scenario list.

Try to install the game in C:, then install Era over it, then mods one by one. Make sure that you have administrator access and that your antivirus doesn't screw the install process.

First install it correctly, desktop is not such. Then try to run the game before installing wog/era, and only then install addons.
