No problem at all, as long as we label it as fake, it would be okay to share, maybe i'll give it a go just out of curiosity one day, though it's quite unlikely.

Which is why I precised it was vulgate, but I see you are Darth Vader.

There, to calm your wrath I will contribute to the thread by adding Martin Scorsese presents the blues documentaries.

Barenboim on Beethoven - Masterclass on the Sonatas

Pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim gives a masterclass on the Beethoven piano sonatas, coaching some of the world's rising piano stars who already have international careers (like Lang Lang, here at his best, David Kadouch and Jonathan Biss).

Timewatch - Savagery And The American Indian is the best documentary ever made on the subject of "the new-world being actually an old world" and the terrible use of propaganda for purposed expansion. The Europeans fled brutality, discrimination and subjugation only to do the very same once they were Free.

Growing-up I was not taught the whole story in school. Since I have native American Indian roots intertwined with a diverse European family tree this is a harsh discovery.

However, the best thing about this stark history-lesson given by the BBC <imo> is that at the end, they captured the most important point of the sad tale; the message of the American-Indian to the modern world.

Pervert's Guide to Cinema
I used to think of Zizek like a troll of the Academia but lately I kind of changed my mind, when you think of his perspective as an aspect rather than "decoding the core" it all makes sense. Kind of like Freud himself, all of these film analysis are very Freudian, a discovery on something undeniably existent but are they really as dominant as he emphasizes them? I'd say no.

Maybe not the right place, but no idea where else,

Fan made documentary about Might and Magic universe, NWC fate and 3DO bankruptcy. I liked it.

Just a question for the native Americans here, does this guy speak English or American? Because usually I understand nada from American gibberish and words mutilations but here everything is clear and nicely pronounced, I enjoyed listening to.

Very polished work for something fan-made, most times you cant tell. I, too, linked a doc about computer games. There's nothing that doesnt fit about it. As long as it is a doc and not some pseudo-scientific crap about UFO's or paranormal activity, it's all fine.

The link was fried so...now gone. Seems lots of what I find gets axed. "They" must be tracking my brilliant mind.

Edit = If you'd like to know more about the History or Technique about making movies, then both interviews with a titan of the industry should be of interest.

Gould and Menuhin would have been excellent OSM-ers. Not quite a documentary, but about the art of being a diplomat when you don't want war.

I thought about putting this into Music but it is a RL tale with lots of lessons.

Years ago when I was a wee lad We bought discs of music called LPs and on the back of the large squares that protected our investment, usually one would find some sort of story to read; often it would be how the singer or the band got started etc.

iirc On the back of a Dylan album, the folk singer was quoted and gave high praise to the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem. I knew about an earlier group of people that influenced the many "stars" I would later follow for a time but seldom did I come in contact with any of these early influences. Ofc, many of them were too poor to make records and there was a host of other reasons; mostly because I didn't want to look that far back at the time.

However I never forgot the name Clancy Brothers and I just recently on a weird search that began with Maureen O'Hara interview about The Quiet Man and ended here.
The Story Of The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWeXxLQ4ZhQ

This next "early-vid-record" I'm not sure of. At one point a man is listening to a strange radio and is ticked that is wife makes comments while he is trying to hear a news-broadcast (the German retreat from Russia which began in 43) No matter when it was filmed it is still a heck of a record of when people could live and work together and be quite happy living and depending on each together even, inside a life of toil. <imo> After all, a good life is hard work.

Bygone days of Ireland

Edit= copy and paste. I've quit making links and just post the address because often when I'd link a utube upload it "seemed" it would be dead in no time.

Edit 2 = Adding a couple more

This is cool. Of the famous Seven Wonders of the Ancient World the locations of six are known. I think this woman has found the last one. Awesome story.

This Doc is done very well. A musician or music lover will see the music change over the years and how the next generation makes the folk-songs their own.

Not that this is a documentary (yet), but I find rather interesting that we'll have the first close up images of Pluto in a week, at last. They are starting to refer to it as the other red planet.

Meanwhile, the other probe visiting Ceres (another dwarf planet) is still trying to figure out the glowing spots, which happen to be present in many different places across the surface.

Well, for those of you who like astronomy, that is. ^^

Yuval Harari: "Techno-Religions and Silicon Prophets" | Talks at Google

I especially recommend this to Mvass, Markkur and Corribus for various reasons. This guy is really interesting and I think we'll hear a lot about/from him in the future. His approach on liberalism may seem a little oversimplified at first but he puts the whole pieces of his perspective together especially in the end with the Q & A.

The Youtube subtitles are accurate if your mother tongue is not English and you have a hard time understanding the accent.

The first two are great WWI tales about what crews did after their ships were sunk. Both are incredible stories.

This lecture is well worth the listen, since the speakers shows how over time, History can be retold in error & bias and accepted.
