Worst Hero In the Game By Far!!!

I just realize what the worst hero in the game is.

The hero with bloodlust in the conflux. 80% of creatures are immune to fire.

I don't know if nwc was trolling at this time or just bad design idea.

At that times, they didn't spend many time on making the game since they quickly moved to another one

And patching for balance was a minor issue too.

Well Inteus is not really bad if you recruit him when you have other town He starts with wisdom and fire magic. Imagine when you play with Dungeon which has good probability to get Armageddon... Imagine Inteus riding with black dragon and armageddon...

In my opinion there is no worst hero because every hero has his/her own place in different maps

Piquedram. Useless specialty, Mystycisim and Scouting. This bloodlust guy also sucks. Well, to be honest most of heroes suck. That's why in multiplayer everybody just plays the same heroes over and over again.

It depends on what game you're playing. I've found it useful to transfer spells between heroes through a campaign, since you don't always get all your campaign heroes right from the start. Sometimes, your secondary heroes only come on the second or even third mission. I consider it useful to teach them all the spells from the starting hero, while preventing Scholar from taking up a skill slot on those campaign heroes.

Furthermore, if you're just recruiting a backup hero (for troop ferrying or point defense), it's also useful to quickly fill up their spellbook.

Personally, the worst heroes are those that start with Eagle Eye.

It was so stupidly ironic. My expert bloodlust only worked on the storm elemental and ice elemental who had no use for bloodlust while the rest was immune to it.

If that isn't the worst hero then aleast the most pointless if your starting with conflux.

Now that I said this, I realize armageddon is really good for conflux.

I've never really considered using outside heroes for other town's. Might try it one day. I do use the one's that give 350 gold or resource.

In heroes 2 & 3 a popular strategy is to hire heroes who have higher likeliness to get +att stat, which basically translates to Barbarians, where in heroes 3 Crag Hack are especially notable due to his offense specialty.

So if you can a Barbarian as your main, it's typically worthwhile, as most battles will be determined by having the fastest unit and then follow up by mass haste.

I like logistics heroes for scouts, the +gold tend not to be anything special, but it highly depends on play style and map. If you like a slow game where you let the computer develop, I'm sure the +gold heroes can open up for easier scout wars without having to break money buildings, if that's not your thing, etc.

That's hilarious!

But like what others said, there are many just as bad; anyone good at eagle eye, first aid tents etc.

What about Aydan? My Most hated hero? wasn't he a bit useless?

In regard to secondary Heroes, who are mainly used for scouting, picking up loose resources and ferrying troops when needed, I usually try and find the Heroes that give a resource bonus: Sephinroth (Dungeon, +1 Crystal), Rissa (Tower, +1 Mercury), Calid (Inferno, +1 Sulfur) and Saurug (Stronghold, +1 Gem) effectively count as an extra Mine for your kingdom. Especially in campaign maps where mines are in short supply, having a few of those in your command can be a godsend.

Special mention should be made for pre-DeathKnight Lord Haart, who has an Estates specialty. As he gets higher in level, he starts to bring in quite a lot of cash each turn. (As a side note, it's kinda funny that Death Knights are excluded from ever getting Estates, while Lord Haart - with his specialty - turns into one ...).

Makes sense considering they get "free" units after each battle

Perhaps, but it also counts for Necromancers, who are eligible to get the skill regardless .

When does Haart turn into a Death Knight, during one of the campaigns?

The Haven campaign in the base game hints at the Undead cultist, lead by Lord Haart, if I am not mistaken. In any case, there's a campaign in the Armageddon's Blade expansion around a Fire Witch, who finds her homeland of Tatalia being burned away by a group of Necromancers - whom, as she eventually learns - are being lead by Lord Haart, who is a Death Knight at that point.

Actually, they replaced Lord Haart from the Haven line-up of Heroes in the expansion with Sir Mullich, because Lord Haart had become an Undead.
