Reminds me of when this guy cast the thing that says "when this dies, you get it back" on a fire elemental or something, I mind controlled it, he traded his other fire elemental for it and woop, I get the new one. Ah, the joys of Arena.

The guy uses Fire Elemental, cast on him that resurrection spell and then uses Defender of Argus. So he had 7/6 Fire Elemental with Taunt that will be brought back to life when it gets killed, and I have... Faceless Manipulator in hand, so for 5 Mana I got the same thing he got for like ~9 Mana.

Just completed my most successful arena run yet, at 8-3. Snake trap is pretty awesome, synergizing so well with both Knife Juggler and Scavenging Hyena (picked up two). Also Release the Hounds was cool.

I just had my best arena run by far, 11-3, using Paladin.  My winnings were 210 Gold, 75 Dust, Blood Knight (3/3 for 3 cost that sucks up divine shields from your guys and enemy, gets +3/+3 for each) and the pack ofc.

 My deck had the following;

Alexstrasza (Sets a Heroes Life to 15 Legendary)
2x Blood Knight
2x Argent Protector
2x Argent Squire
Argent Commander
Scarlet Crusader
3x Consecration
2x True Silver Champion
Blessing of Kings
Hammer of Wrath
Defender of Argus
Blessing of Might
Blessing of Wisdom
Young Dragonhawk
Bloodsail Raider
Bluegill Warrior
Aldor Peacekeeper
Ironforge Rifleman
Raid Leader
Gnomish Inventor
Storm Wind Knight
Frostwolf Warlord
Silver Hand Knight
Spiteful Smith

I went 11-1 then lost my last 2 sadly.  I was so close and last matches were vs a Druid and another Pally.

Looks like a solid divine paladin-deck.
Which is why I love those more and more. It is so satisfying to pull off a good Blood Knight. And if the opponent has not got a silence, hex or poly ready, Blood Knights are tough cookies to handle.

thanks for adding my ID,. regardless of the balancing issues and several other things,. i want to hear your opinion about this game in general guys,. perhaps when you comparing hearthstone with other free to play online card game,. also please tell us about your favorite class and the reason you choose that class of course,. i'm sorry for a little off-topic maybe,. but i thing this is a good opportunity to keep our forum interesting probably,.

Most of these things have been mentioned in the previous 2 pages, but I don't realy mind reiterating it.
Since I do not play any other TCG's, I cannot compare it to anything. But I find Hearthstone a very enjoyable, accesible cardgame.
My fav class is Hunter, though Paladin is becoming my 2nd rather quickly. I like Hunter because it is very easy to synergize and rather powerfull. I am currently stocking up on dust to make a King Crush. Paladin is only slightly harder to synergize, Divine Paladin is quite an easy deck to make up and very satisfying to pull of with a Blood Knight.

Thanks for your response my friend,. and yeah i totally agree on you when you said that this game is "accesible cardgame" because as we know that Blizzard never launch such a free game in the past,. not considering warcraft series (RTS version) of course,. i'm really sure you guys truly know that we talking about game such as World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 etc... so this is a big change which is really good in my opinion,. and yes, you are right, it's very enjoyable for me personally..

Owh yes my friend, Hunter class is very decent in my opinion but as i know it's true potential is not really played on high ladder though,. because of the hero power is not very well adapted so well in some situation and less versatile,. still a good class and dependable hero power though,. and yeah its minion synergy is the strong point,. as for Paladin class,. i can't really say anything,. its playstyle will run smoothly if you understand it well,. really strong combo and combination between minion and spell..

My favorite is druid because of the amazing late-game (Ancient of War is so good), Shaman is awesome too though, the things they do with Windfury are pretty ridiculous, especially in Arena. Priest is pretty fun with all the cards that steal cards from your opponent's deck or take control of their minions or stuff like that, and Paladin is just fun in general.

Hey friend,. thanks for the response, my favorite class is also Druid same with you,. perhaps we can share some tips and hint about playing Druid and it's deck building also when we have free time in some chit-chat i expect,.

yes,. shaman is cool and really rewarding to play,. mostly because of it's mechanic (overload & windfury). Overload can give us a edge or slight advantages for playing some powerful spell and minion at the expense of mana the next turn, while windfury can give you some big punch and decent removal in one minion,. as for Priest,. with the mind control, mind destroying ability (mostly for minion or come in form of direct damage to the hero a.k.a Shadow Word) and that powerful buff known-as Power Word is really fun and rewarding to play,. kinda hurts me when people use it recklessly in front of you though..
Paladin is really fun to play if you play it in synergizing playstyle.. really look forward to play another friendly match with you again my friend,. those match we played are pretty fun..

@RMZ1989
Hey friend,. thanks for the response.. I'm also playing Duel of Champion,. but, i have some trouble collecting the cards,. i want to play all faction but have some restriction to play my proper primary deck (Necropolis deck,.) so, i just take a breath from it and playing Hearthstone for a while,. Sometimes i'm back to play DoC when i'm tired seeing Hearthstone,.

Arena system is really fun,. and lot of people seems to agree with it.. can't really say anything about it because it's just very fun and rewarding to play. Warlock is a late game class,. i suppose you must be well adapted to play the warlock play style is it right  my friend? (i'm really salute,. because i play Warlock very bad, almost terrible i think)

I'm saying this because i think that Warlock class is very decent with card drawing power in late game phase when people just begin running out of cards when it don't have card drawing spell/minion in their hand,. it can really devastating your strategy to win the game because you are running out of answer.. Druid is the foremost and decent choice for people who love versatility,. it's ability that comes in strong and powerful minion, decent spell that well adapted to all situation,. can't really say anything again with this class.

Exactly as you said it's legendary minion that can really turn the tide of battle in a very different way is worth for some "tweaks" in my opinion (well,. this is very subjective opinion though..) in order to create a proper balance in the game,. yeah pretty much all the things that you said is worth considering for the well-development to this game,. i just say i agree with you on the rest..

@gnomes2169
Hey friend,. thanks for the response.. Owh,. another brethren from Druid class, i guess
Personally i don't expect that Druid class is gaining such a respect from Hearthstone player in this forum, Hunter and Priest is really powerful class to play, with Hunter come in it's synergy minion and Priest from it's pretty decent spell and ability,. both class is not so hard to master it's game-play in some proper way. Mage is arguably the beast class for now,. have a very different and special game-play in order to win the game from your opponent,.
As for the Warlock, i'm really bad at explaining the Warlock's ability and gameplay wise,. owh sadly, why i'm just very terrible with this class only..
(though i'm not so good in playing another class too)..

Great, can't wait! And those cards look insanely good...

Gruul but in stealth? Gain stats when summoning deathrattle minions? Everything has a deathrattle twice?! And the hero power, two damage to leftmost minion seems ridiculous, especially for 1 mana, really hurts things like knife juggler. Still looks great though.

Oh, the hero power is only for a boss, never mind. Still crazy OP though.

TB is kind of terrible. It's kind of deep, but it has random elements to it and getting good cards requires you to play a lot for a long time.

EDIT: I LOVE TB, BUT HE'S TERRIBLE AT THE GAME, I MEAN.

There's a ton of common good cards, getting the most fun cards requires a lot of time but there's plenty of enjoyable combinations with commons, and in the Arena you can get whatever and Legendaries (the rarest & weirdest ones) do come up a reasonable amount.

Yeah, TB isn't the greatest player. He likes arenas and gimmick-decks, which makes his plays very situationals. WoWCrendor is a lot more entertaining to watch and as a rule a beter player, IMHO. I like watching and listening to TB a lot, but not with Heartstone.

As for the game itself, it's quite easy to get into but mastery will take longer. The tutorial is pretty good, IMHO and you can get good cards easily enough without spending a dime. The entire game is free for that matter.
Kip, just try it out. If you don't like it, uninstall it.

I'm really hooked up by the game right now, my favorite hero is the Hunter. "Beast synergies" are da bomb, especially with those Scavenging Hyenas (which work very well with Unleash the Hounds). When I want to make some gold quick I pick the Hunter because I have a Win/Loose ratio like 3/1 or 5/1 with him...

Unfortunately the problem with the game is with those Expert Packs. I've already opened like 20 of them already, and I didn't even get a single Legendary card. Not to mention I'm getting a lot of doubles of some crappy cards. Yeah I know you would probably get better effects when buying them with real money, but as I'm not planning to spend even a penny on the game I must open each one of them believing in a miracle.

With things as they stand now, I'm probably gonna get bored with the game sooner then I'll pick some of those Legendaries that caught my eye...

I started to play the Arena to fasten things up (from what I've seen you get "better" Expert Packs as prizes), but it's randomness is just killing me. Even if I do manage to create a decent deck, the best I can do is get three wins with it. Usually my enemies have better cards or simply too much luck (like the guy whose last card in hand late-game was Deathwing :/) This mode is too random imo, Blizzard should do something with it. And the mode is probably the only way to farm Legendary cards, because gathering 1600 arcane dust each seems like an impossible feat...

How could you...

In the Arena, it's best to not rely on combos (hard for a Hunter, I know), but to just pick solid cards that fit well with your mana curve and the other cards you have. There's plenty of guides out there that rank all the cards and which ones you should pick, some good shouts are Chillwind Yeti, Harvest Golem, Argent commander, Fairy Dragon, Azure Drake, Sen'jin... Those are just cards that will fit into lots of decks and ones you just grab in drafts. It obviously depends on the situation but if you have no idea what to do just stick with the solid cards.

There's also plenty of class specific cards that are great, things like Druid of the Claw, Swipe, Water Elemental, Fire Elemental, Polymorph, Shadow Word Pain, Truesilver Champion, Animal Companion to name but a few that you'll generally want to take. I'm personally pretty bad with Hunter, but even so I've had no success with him, he's not too good in Arena due to the over-reliance on getting the unleash the hounds and the buzzard and the hyena and the eaglehorn bow and the secrets... The best Arena classes are probably either Mage or Druid, both of them have extremely good common cards (i.e. ones you're likely to get in the draft) and are classes that in general tend to trade well, something which becomes a lot more important in Arena than in constructed.

Hope that helped.
