For all you guys struggling (I know you are ) with Heroic Malorak, probably the most unfair boss in Hearthstone history, here's the deck I've beat him with:

It's a deck I've got from one of the sites, but tweaked it a bit myself. I'm really surprised no one thought of Shadowflame, the MVP card for this boss. The main focus of this deck is to survive the minion onslaught with Taunts (Sunfury Protector is great cause even an 1/1 Imp with a Taunt does the trick) and the said Shadowflame (Nerubian is good for sacrifices cause most of his minions won't go over 4 HP). There's a trick with Dire Wolf which boosts your minions stats because of Malorak Hero "swap" power (he adds a bonus 1 attack for minions you summon beside him), but to tell you the truth it didn't work like intended for me even once. Lookout for his Duplicate, try to kill his weakest minions to trigger it, or better just go face all the time if possible. Or you can use Kezan Mystic (which I don't have unfortunately). You must survive until he throws his fat minions like the 11/11 Drakonid Crusher or Belcher which you can copy with Faceless. Clear them with your Zoo army (if you manage to produce one that is) and go for the kill with with the doppelgangers... it's hard and full of RNG but possible

Of course, like all guides say, if he summons 3 Abberations turn one auto concede :/

EDIT: On the other hand Heroic Atramedes was soooo easy with your standard "buff the Deathlord" Priest deck... I've beat him on my first try.

Thank you very much.

I just cleared the normal bosses. Nefarion was super fun. I had to do a few tries on Normal. But now I need the rest on HC. Such a fun adventure really.

I finished Heroic Neferian and thus I acquired the BRM Heroic card back. The final boss proved to be less troublesome then some of the other bosses like Malorak. Once again I used Priest, and once again "buff that Taunt" plus Khel have done the trick. Serves Blizzard right to make such cheap tricks against players: the Khel-Taunt glitch is the players answer for their trickery

All in all the adventure proved to be fun. I think it was more interesting and varied then Naxx or it's just that the overall theme was more to my liking (and there were some really nice effects like the "flying Nefarian"). Still, the fight I enjoyed the most was the one in the first wing with all those Legendaries. It's too early to say how much BRM will change the meta, but I can already say that, for me at least, Dragons do the trick. I really enjoy my Paladin Dragon deck, time will only tell if I'll try some other classes with dragons in mind...

I really wonder where Hearthstone will go from here, I suppose we'll have to wait for Blizzcon.

I just got Bolvar and my first Molten Giant I had some lucky packs

I still need to d the HCs.

But BRM was more fun than Naxx, but Naxx was the first so they might be getting more creative.

Are those dragons so bad ass?

Bolvar is actually quite good. He fitted nicely in my Mech-Paladin deck. Even if I drew him late game I could always use the swap spare part to make him a 7/1

And yes my Dragon deck is badass cause:
1. It constantly floods the board with heavy minions (consort is a 5/5 plus she makes Hungry Dragon cost 2 mana etc). Hexed that Nefarian? Oh look, a 9/9 Draconid Crusher With good synergies Dragon themed cards bring great value for their cost imo. You could even say they are like mechs: they bring constant pressure in each turn.
2. Dragon decks being a new thing as such opponents don't know what to expect.
3. It has dragons!

You made some strong points there. I will see what I can do with my Pala cards and see if anyone good comes out of it.

I didn't "link too it". It's entirely my creation (of course the nature of Hearthstone makes many decks look similar with only slight changes). I've created it even before BRM started releasing. I keep Onyxia, Nefarian and Deathwing in it only because of the "Family Issues" theme , cause however useful they are they could still be potentially switched to some other cards that give more value like Ysera. Heck I even crafted Onyxia just for this deck

I'm happy that you like it Feel free to add your own variations (add Boom, Bolvar or Ysera for instance).

PS: Like I though, Nefarian is better in action then he was initially theorized by the players. With Consort you can play him on turn 10 for 7 mana and still have some mana left for spells. I was especially satisfied when I played him against a Druid, used Starfall to clear Cenariuses Treants (who I finished off with one of my minions), boosted Nefarian with Kings Blessing and a Starfire to finish the said Druid off. That's what it means to be killed by your own sword (spell) I also wouldn't mind if I got Mark of the Wild for instance. Nefarian is crazy late game...

Sorry- I know you created it yourself.

I have changed it a little mainly because I do not have all those fancy legendaries you have But there is a lot of potenial in the deck, so I will keep tweeking it so it fits my style

Been playing a Dragon Paladin also, finally I love this class I used to hate it really. I had to remove Hungry Dragons (which I thought would be super strong!) because they don't do well in my deck, you just need the weapon and I only run 2 weapons. But Volcanic Dragon (which I though was weak!) is proving to be amazing! Funny how these things go like this haha... Board clear with Wild Pyromancer + Equality and you have a 0 mana 6/4!

I absolutely LOVE Nefarian. Yes in my last game the cards were bad (Cleave and Whirlwind against Grim Patron Warrior) but at some point even THOSE were usefull. YAY! Thanks blob2 for the ideas

Okay! So I have some issues if I do not get the right mulligan. This is a really mana heavy deck, and if I do not get the low cost minions first I am in for quite the beating or a really long intense battle.

I'm happy that the "Dragon Virus" is spreading

Yeah mulligan can be a b*tch but that's how control decks usually "work". Slow start, crazy finish. And usually that one Faerie Dragon is enough to get things rolling. After that comes Technican, Hungry Dragon etc. But from what I can see if you survive those few turns things can start to look grim for your opponent One time I fought a Mage who looked really strong until I started to summon one heavy minion after another. He didn't know where to throw that Fireballs at I think that's the best thing about this deck. When your opponent thinks that he has things under control heavy cannons start to roll (like with the infamous Control Warrior). I see a lot of concedes lately

@Minion
Try adding more of those Minibots/Worgens/Faerie Dragons maybe?

With bad hand every game sucks, but on the other hand from my experience I can tell that this deck works so well, that you can even win till mid game without even relying on more expensive minions. I've had quite a few concedes after my opponents saw Technician + Coghammer (it's an incredible card) followed by Hungry/Consort etc... or a 8/10 D-Sorcerer with Blessing of Kings (though this combo is really hard to come by). As always those pesky rush/aggro decks are a problem though...

I agree that after turn 4-5 things start to go better, but I can still get crushed if I am too slow.

I am not feeling the great thing about Hungry Dragon. It is only a good card, if you have board control.

Yeah that 1-mana minion can backfire on you (2/1 for instance or a Taunt) but his stats are really troublesome for your opponent. I use Muster for Battle and Coghammer (yeah, I know it's not easy to get, I have only one) to clear them. But his stats make him great for pressure (opponent: oh no's, such a heavy minion already!?) and to clear way for stronger minions (maybe opponent will waste that Fireball?). Volcanic Drake seems legit, but I think that 4 health makes him too easy to remove. Plus I don't have that many tokens for trading in my deck to reduce his cost. And I dislike Equality + Pyromancer/Concecration combos. Still, maybe I'll test him. People also suggest Azure Drake for that Consecration boost but I think Pala does not have that many dmg spells to justify putting him in.

I could try the Coghammer and Muster for battle tactic. It might do the trick for me.

I played against a fatique mage earlier. It was a tough battle and I got owned so bad in the end. All those freezes and stalling.. so annoying. Difficult to get any control back

Gah, had another 11 Arena run with Pally and once again failed to nail that 12 (this time it was a no-win Mage deck I faced). But the real problem was with the prizes... After getting 205 gold, one golden common, one epic (both of which I already had) and a crabby pack with nothing worth mentioning I'm beginning to wonder about the point of doing Arena runs. It can be fun and all but the amount of frustration and hardship is not compensated by the prizes which imo have to big of span. Maybe the prizes should have fixed values? I mean, I've got two legendaries after 3-3 runs already. Packs can stay random, but at least gold and dust should be awarded accordingly...

EDIT: Nice, two Classic Packs for free and I didn't even encounter any server issues. Too bad they contained cr@p, but hey, at least I'm 125 AD ahead (one was golden common). I wonder why Blizzard doesn't give free packs more often... for the games anniversary for instance.

Twisting Nether should read "Silence all creatures, then destroy them". Would be a sweeet card then!

Twisting Nether is a really nice card in Arena. Whenever I have one it automatically rises my win rate (cause you can control board with it: play less minions and if your opponent thinks he has the upper hand "bang!"). Talking about Warlock I wonder why I don't see Anima Golem. Ever. Does he not fit into Zoo decks? You always have at least few minions to support it on board in this type of decks...

Btw I really hate how I can't get those couple of missing cards to fill my collection. I get Epics pretty often, yet while I did get Gladiators Bow at least three or four time already, I can't get either Doomhammer or Gorehowl for instance...

Anima Golem isn't that great, if you ask me. Though I do not own it.

Oh and by the way about those arena runs. I believe that the prizes are the same if you win 3-5 matches or 10+, the only difference is how much gold or dust you get. But the cards do not change.
