I was just reading some comments on hearthpwn and laughed out loud, it really divides opinions.

"Helpp, I play aggro and just destroyed my whole deck!"

Woosh!

Those four cards that were revealed are really something!

Elementals get two very strong 'stay-on-curve' tools. A Servant of Kalimos->Fire Elemental->Blazecaller (or Stone Sentinel, depending on the situation)->Kalimos play looks like a real roller combo. Actually when you think about it it's ridicioulosly OP as it can become an unstoppable 14 dmg to face! You can finish up with a spell if you like Shaman has lots of those...

Pterrordax is the next cancer (as Discolock will probably return as the number one cancer deck). It's so easy to get a Possesed Villager to do the trick. If so, you can get a 7/7 with no tempo loss (though the wordings off, it might actually mean pick one and it's effect is doubled?).

Galvadons ability was teased already, but it doesn't change the fact that it's OP. You're getting 15 chances to pick either Stealth or Spellproof...

They're really letting loose here, I hope they know what their doing (probably not)...

EDIT:
Just look at the Elemental Shaman alone (which looks like it was tailor-made by the devs):

Turn 1 -> Firefly
Turn 2 -> Glacial Shard to stop aggro minion and Second Firefly for board
Turn 3 -> Tar Creeper and Turn 4-> Stoneshaper if too much aggro.
Now because Stoneshaper is not an Elemental it will break the chain, but surely there will be other Elementals which you can use here. And hey, a Divine Shield Taunt is worth it. If not Tol'vir then:
Turn 5 -> Servant (or sth else if Tol'vir)
Turn 6 -> Fire Elemental
Turn 7 -> Blazecaller/Stone Sentinel (again: depending on aggro)
Turn 8 -> Kalimos
Turn 9 -> Ozruk? Might not be the best choice but maybe to setup a turn 10 play? Or you can play a bunch of Elementals here to boost and play him on turn 10 (Dust Devils ). Well this doesn't make that much sense but who knows...

Of course this is a dream scenario, but there are other Elementals coming and you can fill the holes with different stuff. The only downside of this deck might be that it is based solely on Elementals to keep it rolling, and that will probably not be as easy as on paper (Overload for instance)...

EDIT 2: HA! Nailed it! And it's even easier then I initialy thought (cause it's not buff but any spell)... or maybe not. 6 spells seem hard to pull off...

I think I will just comment on Galvadon.

6 spells is hard to pull off! We might still see a spell or two for paladin that buffs, but so far it is looking like we must go old school with blessing of kings and such. Tough quest, but insane reward. That is a massive beast.

New druid card released as well.. Adapt your minions.. imo a fairly good card comboed with savage roar it is a great card. I cannot wait to see where they are taking druid this time around.

EDIT:

Tortollan Primalist: I was looking forward to this card. I loved the artwork from the first trailer. Then we get this.. I had my hopes up for a shaman card that casted lightning or something. Damn I am so sad. This is too overpriced to work.
Spikeridged Steed: A new paladin card that works with the quest. I would compare this to Priest Velen's Choosen from GvG. This is priced fairly and has a pretty solid buff. It might work in midrange or a more controllish paladin.
Cornered sentry: 2/6 taunt for only 3 is pretty great. The draw back - Three 1/1 for your opponent. I personally think that the draw is too big to be good. We will see.

Just when you thought Hearthstone devs learned something they create cards like Tortollan Primalist. There was this one Mage card: Servant of Yogg-Saron. Had same statline, was cheaper and almost didn't see any play. So what this one has the Discover effect? It's still random targets. You absolutely don't want to play such an unstable card lategame where every play counts. It might be irony that a guy who criticized Yogg-Saron until he got one says this about this kind of card, but pre-nerf Yogg had a diffrent role which worked: as a last resort play. I can't find another purpose for this aside from "for the lulz"...

Yeah team, keep on bragging about that 0.5% of the playerbase who enjoy playing gimmicky decks for more then a one-two tries...

As for the rest? Spirit Echo be cancer, Spikeriged Steed might actually be decent for control plus Paladin doesn't have that many good 6-cost picks (aside from MC, but it's a different story) and Cornered Sentry is hmm, I don't know, tricky? Without a boardclear giving an enemy 3 minions might be a shot in the knee, a Druid can very easily use it to his advanatage (plus the new Adapt mechanic)...

Had not thought that - Adapt your minions suddenly becomes way better if the opponent gave you three 1/1

But the primalist is indeed the definition of a bad card. Pure lulz.

So, Tyrantus is the Druid Legendary eh? 12/12 Beast for 10 mana with Spellproof.

While it's definately not a bad card (the Dino might even further enchance the Aviana combo), it's so boring. Really is this all they could think of? Guess the Quest will be equally boring, like play 5 7+ mana minions etc...

Sigh... card usefulness aside, it's a really sad state for this game when I see 90% of comments on HearthPwn are "why would I play this over Jades"?

Well that is the average opinion. Jade decks are great. They work and you win. People like to win. Trying new things is not something we like to do.

But I do hope that Jade goes a little out of fashion, at least for a while, so we can try out new stuff.

We get the rest of the cards today, which is pretty exciting. Gonna be cool to see what they have in store for us.

Spiritsinger Umbra has just been revealed, and this is one of those great cards, you just gotta love. Low cost legendary that can combo with all deathrattle cards. I love it!

Umbra is probably a second must-craft for me. Her sheer value makes practically every Deathrattle card viable. Her only downside is that she must survive long enough to trigger the effect (but her low cost somewhat makes up for it).

She will be crazy in Wild, just thinking of all those combos: Sylvannas, Boom, Cairne etc make me shiver in fear...

Umbra is another great Legendary, it is a bit worrysome to be honest How am I gonna afford all these Legendaries! I want at least a Quest or two first. And then there are cards like this that will just be super high value, just like Fandral! Leaving it up could mean the end for you

And the Druid Tyrantus is pretty ok, I actually used Soggoth in a few of my decks, that spell immunity is pretty great for a 9 or 10 mana minion, because when it gets Excecuted or Hexed it can ruin your game. It may be a tad boring but I do love me some 12/12 unhexable minions

Her ability is that much terryfing because the keyword here is 'summon' and that means it works with resurrect cards like Onyx Bishop or N'Zoth...

Kalimos and her will be my day one crafts probably. But the good thing about this expansion is that it seems that most of the Legendaries (minions) are at least 'playable' so you can't go wrong with getting each one of them.

Let's get one thing out: please Blizzard, stop inviting Frodan for the card reveals. This guy is so bad at presenting that it's simply painful to watch. Even Brode is getting irritated and says things aloud to direct him. Everyone waits for new cards and this guy doesn't even give a f*ck if a new card is shoved into his face... sheesh!

On to the reveals themeselves. What can I say? I guessed the Quests for Warrior and Druid

There are a lot of really good cards this time around. A lot! This might be a bold statement, but I think I haven't seen a rally bad card in this whole expansion. Some hard times ahead of me, trying to get every single one Even the commons appeared useful. And the cards are so full of flavor! I love dinos and they nailed it!

Because so many cards were revealed it will be hard to round them up, but let me try at least for some of them:
- The one that changes Hunters Hero Power (Dinomancy) might be the single card that will introduce Control Beast Hunter (though aggro also works here). Really cool! A second one refreshes it, so it's ok, cause going by Shadow Form mechanics a +3/+3 might've been too OP. Hunter also got other really neat cards
- Some cool Taunts for Warrior! Yay! They really want to push this archetype, cause the Quest reward is sick!
- Elementals seem even more powerful with the minor ones (the one that reduces the Elementals cost, ouch!)
- Some more good Priest cards. Lyra seems interesting, the Elemental that reduces the cost (Radiant Elemental) is godly-sick for Priest and I think a combo-wombo spell Priest actually seems real.
- Paladin. Well people said the Quest was garbage. As we've seen on the video, it's OP. The Murloc which 'buysback' your buffs is disguisting, and there's a cheap and versatile 1-mana Adapt buff to boot. Galvadon will be cancer, mark my words!

And my world, they actually did it: Time Warp for Mage! A second turn! And it's not even that hard to achieve.

This expansion does look really, really good. There are a lot of cool cards. A lot of good cards. Really good job Blizzard! Hope the meta will deliver... I'm afraid about balance though, the power level for this out of charts. And they aren't even keeping it secret: D Toast showed some ugly OTK with Giants for instance If aggro won't reign supreme, this expansion will be about bringing the big guns.

PS: Good trolling with the date Ben

EDIT: All cards revealed:
http://www.hearthpwn.com/guides/2223-journey-to-ungoro-hearthstones-fifth-expansion

I said it many times already but I'm impressed. Like the devs said, they've really put a lot of thought into this expansion. I really like how it all 'clicks', how each Class has it's theme (Warrior has Triceratops cause Taunts, Warlock has insects etc), and the mechanic behind quests. Some Quests might require more tailored decks, but imo they give you a possibility to experiment. Some more cards I like to mention:
- Cruel Dinomancer - good in Discardlock. And cool. And brings back that Doomguard you didn't want to discard :] I wonder why they're pushing this archetype so much, it's already strong.
- Envenom Weapon - people wanted a good Rouge card so there you have it. Rouge still needs heal though...
- Steam Surger - cool art and a lot of value. I only wonder if Elemental Mage will actualy be a thing. Though it curves with Water Elemental nicely

Only two 'buts':
1. Where is Therazane!
2. What happened to my cool Lizard art minion? I should've known there was something amiss when the art piece disappeared from the official site...

I have no idea to start either. This expansion looks seriously solid. So few filler cards. Artwork on point. Creative and great ideas (Quest, adapt etc.).

I personally cannot wait to bring hunter back into the meta. Paladin quest didn't look too difficult either, which I like.

Well.. I am so hyped!

I actually don't now, what to do with Rogue in this expansion. But then I don't now, what to do with them now. So, thats not something that speaks against this expansion in particular.
Of what I can say, I see a lot of really valuable cards, of which could develop a lot of really interesting strategies. And, yeah, I've got to agree with blob here, they really seem to be pushing the really big minions. You may even need the "Meteor" card at some point, although it just seems to be a bit overkill to me, now.
But, did you see that druid-quest-reward? That could get some insane values, if the game actually gets more late-game orientated.

A lot of the quest actually has that "high cost, insane reward" they talked about. Druid is no different. imo difficult to achieve the quest, but the reward is on point! Imbalanced even.

My favorite quest reward has to be warrior. I know it is reused, but a 8 dmg is amazing. I hope it will give you that raid-boss feeling.

I have now looked more closely at the cards and all the filler cards were not in the stream, but they were released on Facebook afterwards. There are some dumb **** in between the gold. But all in all this expansion might be the best one yet, or at least second to WotoG.

Yeah there are a few meh filler cards, but not even close to what we've seen in previous expansions (Worgen Greaser or Hired Gun anyone?). And imo 90% of Epics are at least at 'useful' level. Not to mention almost all Legendaries are worth it. Even if some of them end up unplayed, that won't be because they're weak, but simply because the meta won't allow it. This is probably the first expansion in which practically every Legendary/Legendary Quest that I potentially get in a pack will be "ok".

Looking good, indeed one of the best parts about this expansion is that there aren't Boogeymonster-type fail Legendaries at all. Ok I do not want the Shaman Quest though, danging I am now gonna get it :S

Also that all have strong themes, a lot because of the Quests but also because a lot of cards support them. I really love those Tar creatures that are incredibly strong defensively!

Then there was a shocker, they printed an actual good 2-drop for Priest

For those who don't know here's all Un'Goro cards divided by class.

http://www.hearthpwn.com/guides/2223-journey-to-ungoro-hearthstones-fifth-expansion

And dang, it's hard to decide which thing to try first. I will have quite a lot of dust on me so I'm thinking this:

- Shaman = Elementals. But I'll need a lot of them to make a solid deck. Kalimos is a must, but I would probably need Blazecaller and S Sentinel. Not to mention those useful Rares (especially tha mana cost reducing one), but I'm quite unlucky with Rares usually :/
- I really like Hunter this time around. Each of the class card is sick and I do want to go into Beast Hunter some more. I'm even considering crafting Dinomancy. At the same time I so want Carnassa but I do wonder if she will work in a Beats Hunter deck...
- I want some of those Taunts for Warrior. To enchance my usual deck. I must consider crafting the Quest, it's perfect for it.

To sum up I think I'll craft 'The Marsh Queen', Kalimos, 'Fire Plume's Heart' and 'Spritsinger Umbra'. If somethings left dust-wise I might consder some Epics. Gosh, there are so many other cool things to craft, how will I find resources for it...

Oh my god, Warlock has no healing anymore after Reno is gone. Discard  tempo-lock seems to be the way to go. I am actually gonna miss Renolock although I have played it way too much. It is just Warlock + Control was my cup of tea for this year. Before that it was Priest, so we shall see which class I take for my new "main class". It could be Warrior or Mage from the looks of the cards.
