It depends on what you have. Maybe I can at least tell you what cards I have and if they're worth crafting imo.

Unfortunately I also have an issue with picking what to craft next. Actually I doubt if I'll craft anything more in BDP as I don't see any likely candidates (maybe that Specimen 9?). I suppose Floop would be a good candidate, but somehow I don't want to get into Druid.

I am also thinking about crafting "old" legendaries instead of these more.. mediocre legendaries.

What's next for Hearthstone

The thing is, I don't find anything interesting here. I play this game rarely now (customarily I would even say, just to not loose those dailies), TBP turned out as a pretty boring expansion for me (somehow I can't get around this science theme, at least not as much as I thought I would initially), and aside from the standard new expansion hype (the one that's coming near end of 2018), there is nothing fresh to look forward to. No new modes, questionable new Hero portrait for Paladin (why does the class get a 4th one?), Wild stays the same, focus on new players (well, it's cool but not for us dinosaurs) and new Classic cards is lazy design (someone even pointed out they are adding RNG cards simply cus it's a 'safe balancing' mechanic). Not interested in Tournament mode, but the "on hold" thing really pissed a lot of people.

At a casual (as in: from time to time) level the game is fine, but even looking on this board alone I see that most of us are already barely interested in this title...

EDIT: On one hand the Tavern Brawl is interesting cus you're able to play some unpopular cards. On the other some DK's are simply OP when played from turn 1. So in reality it's a Jaina and Gul'dan fiesta...

What are your biggest surprises of the set? Mine are:

- Mechs didn't dominate the meta. Aside from single cards, I don't see decks build around them. They are strong but loose with more refined decks...
- Pogo Hopper decks don't work. Their biggest weakness is... the Hopper itself. You don't draw it, you can't utilize it. And most of the time you don't
- I rarely see big Druid decks. I thought Psychomelon and those other cards would make a bigger presence
- people were mostly right about this expansion: it failed to make an impact. Actually its much worse, we can see a resurgence of older cards even...
- I didn't expect I would be bored so fast

It just does not make any sense that a set can be more boring than WITCHWOOD?!

Two weak expansions in a row. Though Witchwood had a much bigger impact than TBP.

I hope the announcement for Blizzcon will shuffle up the game somehow.. Not just adding classic cards..

I doubt it. They are clearly satisfied with the state of things. And the "enemy is at the gates". While Gwent is stil a niche game Artifact and MtG Arena are around the corner. Hearthstone will definately loose some of its player base to them...

After all these years, they are nerfing Mana Wyrm? Interesting. There's probably not a player in the universe that wasn't irritated by turn one strong plays with it. It's kinda sad that such a classic card gets a nerf bat, but I think it was coming.

I heard Psychomelon decks are a menace in Wild, but is Aviana the reason? Who would've guessed such a niche card (well, before BDP meta at least) would still be a subject to a nerf...

And finally Giggling Inventor. Sticky taunts are love it or hate it cards. On one hand they're saviors against aggro. On the other they are many times exploited and game changing. I guess the card is nuked now and won't probably see play... funny as it's probably the only BDP card that made it big.

Either way I don't think any of us here on the board is still into Heartshtone anymore to care enough.

Left Hearthstone for MTG:A and I am not comming back. Its like growing up and changing your favorite car toy with real car

Maybe I will check back once a new expansion launches.

Aviana and Kun now both cost 10 so you can't draw the entire combo with Psychomelon. In addition you need Innervate to pull the combo off.

Yeah I know the idea behind it. But it's still a niche card. Malygos Druid, an ever-strong Druid deck, does not use either Kun nor Aviana. Or even Psychomelon. Star-Aligner Druid, which is a strong deck in Wild, uses Aviana, but it can very well do without it. Point is, Druid in general seems to be a problematic class atm. At least that's what I can discern from what people are saying (again, I play the game scarcely).

This game might've reached its growth limit. It will recycle decks/cards over and over again with the addition of a slew of new cards each expansion. Either a complete overhaul is required or it will stay the same, keeping a steady or declining playerbase which still values its accessability and familiarity.

I was there when you got it, nice card to unpack as Golden. My "last" Legendary was Mecha'thun, which I'm not a fan of. And after 38 packs, so it was really disappointing. I say my "last", as I started to hoard gold for the next expansion. I don't have too many expectations for this game at this point, but I hope the x-pac will be at least lore-heavy after BDP (Gurubashi trolls & Hakkar maybe?).

Btw I don't know why people say Malygos Druid is problematic. It's quite easy to outpace, and if Spreading Plague will rotate out this deck will be as good as dead...

PS: The Horseman brawl is a joke. Not only is it recycled, it's also very balanced: AI opponent has a <4 AoE and Fireballs, plus a "second life". So much fun for a whooping Classic Pack. I don't even know if a pack is worth the trouble at this point... I got bored after 3 tries.

Mecha C'thun is a joke..

I opened bloodmage Thalnos the other day. Pretty nice to finally get him, since he is one of those legendaries I just didnt want to craft due to his powerlevel.

The brawl is horrible. I won because Acidmaw I got from infected spell.. Baaah.. it felt horrible to win by random luck ..
Not a good brawl. It is tough in the wrong way.

EDIT: So,Rastakhans Rumble is confirmed to be the next expansion.

I think the playerbase was pretty right when guessing the motif back when teasers were shown at the beginning of the year. Trolls and jungle. And loa. We only needed the theme which is gladiator fights.

This time they have shown quite a few cards already. I love the loa. I don't know if those will be any good (high cost slower cards tend to be pushed out from the meta), but I totally dig their art and theme. Tiger might be hard to pull off, but bat seems solid as a late game power-play with hand buff spells.

And yay, a lore-inspired expansion!

Finally! A troll expansion.
The theme is so much me than Boomsday and Witchwood. Everything feels right about this expansion.
Boomsday was such a letdown. Witchwood was better than I thought, but this is more me.

The Rumble sounds really nice. I still have not completed monster hunt or puzzlelabs. None of those gave me joy, but Rumble sounds even more like Dungeon runs, which is great!

So far none of the cards have given that insane feeling, but the theme is just pretty good.

I just hope each loa will be at least decent, cus I plan to "collect them all". The first two seem playable. We will be given a loa + 2 spirits (you know, the ones which each class gets) as a freebie, so it's a good start The spirits might be solid, the 'Stealth for first turn' ability elevates them to being useful.

I'm also getting good vibes from the expansion: it's lore heavy (for instance Zul'jin will be a Hunter hero card according to sources), has good art and I dig the 'totem animal' theme. I wonder why they haven't decided to make a "troll" tribe.

Might be Hearthstone's saving grace after the letdown Boomsday was for me...

EDIT: Nice promo celebrating 100 mln Hearthstone players: 6 Boomsday packs and 500 gold in total in a special repeatable friend quest.

PS: I've watched RR trailer a few times already and I think it's the best Hearthstone expansion trailer yet. The music is catchy, and somehow it's less goofy then usual.

I say, I'm starting to get a little hyped with the expansion. Great flavor, and interesting cards (for instance Bwonsamdi might make a whole Priest Archetype valid again).

A lot of new cards revealed today, and I'm calling it: this will be a good expansion. I'm getting the "we (the devs) actually spared a thought about this expansion" vibe. While Boomsday was boring as it didn't have much to do in terms of creative decks, RR appears to be giving something to everyone:

- Oondasta has cool art and might work in many decks that use Beasts. All Loa except Priest one are Beasts
- Inspire/Hero Power Mage a thing? Jan'alai effect is easy to pull off as we've seen in the reveal video and the Spirit is playable in many Mage decks
- Zentimo, Shaman Legendary, has incredible potential. At 3 mana he can be played with even a simple Lightning Bolt, and 3x Hex is a classic already
- Discolock is back! Dat Legendary seems like a pain in the ass, and Team 5 is finally giving more control over discarding with "discard the lowest cost card" and some solid cards to back the archetype (the one which Battlecry brings 3 discarded cards back)
- Warrior gets a nice Dragon synergy card (Smolderthorn Lancer)

I like how Spirit cards might very well work without the Loas, but they enchance their strenght at the same time. Nice design.

EDIT: Hakkar seems like a card that has potential to shake the meta. It's not about stats, that are weak, but the effect. In a fatigue deck, or to my despair probably in Mill also, it might be big.





Whatever the case, I think they did a good job in making him both full of flavor and unique (btw cool animations).
