Maexxna returns highest cost mana card back to your hand. Even if you have flame imp on the board, she prefers to return the defender of argus to your hand.

The Heroic Mode Hero Powers are too stronk 
Managed to beat the first guy, but have no idea what I'll do with the second one and don't have the cards I want to beat the third.

I agree they are so tough.
I beat the normal mode and the 2 class challenges (Druid/Rogue). I have also beaten the first 2 bosses on Heroic mode.
The first boss now gets to generate 4/4 minions for only 2 mana which is just insanely unfair. Especially since they always get the "Coin" and go 2nd meaning it can start pumping out 1 a turn right off the bat. Beat this with a customized Priest deck for really big fatties that he couldn't handle and the healing.
2nd boss had his power cost reduced to 1, Basically a Mages Magic Missile with damage equal to number of cards in opponents hand. He also have a 2/4 guy that gives his hero 3 attack on his turn while it's alive! Again modified priest deck with no card drawing beyond that 1/3 guy.
3rd boss randomly (not to sure it's random though) returns 2 of your minnions to your hand at the start of his turn, FOR FREE, and because it's random he can even return things like the 3/2 Faerie Dragon that can't be target by spells and Hero powers. As if this is not bad enough he starts the match with 2x 1/2 Spiders that each give 2 1/1 spiders if they die. I HAVE NOT BEATEN THIS GUY YET 
I believe the only Hero that really stands a chance vs this guy though is the Warrior or maybe Druid/Mage/Priest. About the only tip I have is make sure to include the 2/1 guy for 2 who heals 2hp and the 3/3 for 3 that heals 3hp. He will bounce these always back to your hand.

To defeat maexxna on heroic difficulty, play hunter. I did it with this deck on my fourth try:
- 2x eleven archer
- 2x earthen ring far seer
- 2x voodoo doctor
- 2x doggies
- 2x animal companion
- 2x stone tusk boar
- 2x hunter's mark
- 2x timber wolf
- 2x that 2/1 murloc with charge
- 2x tracking/ vulture (not both, PICK)
- 2x arcane golem
- 2x explosive trap (Only use when the field is full, you actually only make it worse when you hit the 2x spiders with explosive trap, because that spawns 6 spiders and doubles the dps you face)
- 2x eagle horn bow (maexxna has ooze so just use it til it's empty)
- 2x kill command
- 2x wolf rider
Can someone post a deck with which they beat anubrekhan? I don't have alexstrasza, so freeze mage isn't an option.
EDIT: you can use leeroy instead of a wolf rider, if you want to. Maexxna has 0 taunts and uses her hero ability first, so leeroy should be save every time.

I used control paladin to beat him, something like this (don't remember exact decklist)
-2x Argent Squire
-2x Loot Hoarder
-2x Humility
-2x Aldor Peacekeeper
-2x Earthen Ring Farseer
-2x Truesilver
-2x Equality
-2x Consecrate
-2x Stampeding Kodo
-2x Guardian of Kings
-2x Elven Archer
-2x Holy Light
-1x Lay on Hands
-2x Azure Drake
-1x Black Knight
-2x Sunwalker
Not sure about the last 3, I kind of forgot what I put, but the core of the deck is there.
Just beat the other two, used a slightly different Hunter deck for the third one and Zoo with a really low curve for the second. Back to collecting gold for next week!

I've beaten Normal mode and Challenges in one go, without loosing, and will try Heroic mode later.
All in all it was fun, especially the first fight, because Anub'arak threw a lot of new cards to look at 
I must say that I've had a bit of luck with the Spider Queen cause she had four 1/1 spiders (from that Deathrattle spider) plus one minion, and I played with Hunter while having Unleash the Hounds plus Timberwolf 
Challenges were a bit disappointing, I didn't think too much and I still managed to win them on my first try.
PS: Echoing Ooze has a cool animation, plus I think this card has some interesting uses.
PS 2: Nice Naxxramas trailer
PS 3: Managed to beat Heroic Anub'arak on my first try with my standard Mage deck (with standard I mean that I didn't have to modify it). I've won by a horses nail though, because he would've finished me with his 4/4 minions if I didn't had that Fireball. I suppose Mage is your best bet here, because of her board control (and I'm not talking about the pricey Flamestrike, rather some cheaper ones like Cone of Cold or Arcane Explosion boosted with those Spell dmg+ minions like the Ogre) and high-hero-damaging spells. That 45 HP can be a bit overwhelming...
I suppose that Widow will be troublesome because she does a lot of damage with her ability. I think my Murloc Shaman will be a good choice here, assuming that I'll draw a few cheap Murlocs first to clear my hand fast...

I finally beat the 3rd Boss in Heroic Mode. The one that bounces 2 of your creatures to your hand at the start of it's turn I think her name is Maexanna. I did it with the following deck:
Hunter Hero
2x Hunters Mark
2x Abusive Seargent (Can help when using BGHunter)
1x Elven Archer
2x Stonetusk Boark
2x Tiber Wolf
2x Voodoo Doctore
2x Explosive Trap
2x Bluegil Warrior
1x Crazed Alchemist
2x Ironbeak Owl (2/1 Silencer)
2x Animal Companion (you really need to luck into the 4/2 Charger with these I think)
2x Kill Command
1x Unleash the Hounds (Would add one of these next time I think)
1x Big Game Hunter
2x Earthen Ring Farseer
1x Mind Control Tech (Managed to steal that Untargetable guy he had)
1x Stampeding Kodo (Would replace this guy)
2x Gladiators Longbow (Really good because it can kill and not damage you)
I will admit though he had me down to 2hp. Luckily I silenced that damn 1/1 beast spider that when it dies lets him get that TRex into hand. Also silenced the danged 0/2 Eggs so he doesn't get a 4/4. And ofc that 1 3/5 Taunter he has that makes a 1/2 Taunt on death.
PS I know Leeroy Jenkins would be ok for this deck but I sadly don't have him.
PS2 - I also think that Legendary that sets HP to 15 would be good vs Maexana to chop that 45hp by 66% or even to refill your own and since he will probably get bounced it can be repeated.

Well it's quite easy to last to turn 9 with her when your using Voodoo Doctor and the Earth guys to regen your hp.

I managed to defeat that f***ing Heroic Faerlina b*tch after like 15 tries. And as I suspected, my Murloc Shaman was my best bet here, because of this decks quick dmg and cheap cards to quickly reduce your hand size. On my first try ever with her I reduced her to 13 hp, but I didn't have enough cards to finish her (Bloodlust would be nice), and she overwhelmed me with her minions.
The most annoying thing about her was not that fireball-ish ability (though it destroyed most of my weaker Murlocs), but those annoying Worshipers (+3 attack for hero). Not only their ability was OP, they were cheap, hard to kill at this level (4hp), and she didn't have the usual two same cards per deck limit for them. Talking about OP.
Well my final turn when owning her looked like this so go figure 
The best thing is, before my final turn she didn't even do anything, and instantly ended her turn

Zoolock is probably better. You just dump hand on the board and keep doing that and win. She has very little way of interacting with the board when your hand is empty, except for her acolytes.

I tried to fight Heroic Maexxna three times but I didn't beat her. I think the best way to defeat her are minions with Charge plus some attack boosts. Because she returns your minions to your hand each time minions with Charge are a natural pick. The only problem is that minion with Taunt, but there are ways to get rid of it... so maybe Rouge is your best bet here plus minions like Leeroy, Arcane Golem, Southsea Deckhand and Argent Commander (though his quite expensive, whereas you must work fast)

After spending most of my week writing my mastersthesis, tonight I'm gonna see if I can beat the fiends of Naxramas. Wish me luck, friends.
Edit: Ok, that was fun, but less challenging then I thought it would be. I used my Hunter Deck every time, had to redo Anub'Rehkan, beat the Widow and Maexxna on the first try.
Maexxna was especially funny, cause she kept webbing my Houndmaster, which meant I could keep buffing my Haunted Creeper which I put in after I beat Anub'Rehkan.
Edit 2: Dagoth, it seems that your battle-tag is not on the list in the first post. Care to share it and which server you are on?
Edit 3: Veco, Baklava and Azagal, same goes for you it seems. Care to share your Battle-tag and server?

Are you talking about Normal mode or Heroic?
BTW: Nerubian Egg is a really fun card for my Druid Deck. I can easily power it up with spells, and if the need arises I can always hit it with my Keeper of the Groove for a quick 4/4 Nerubian Besides that, I find the rest of the cards from the first wing so so... I'm more interested in Spectral Knight, Echoing Ooze (all those possibilities!) and Deathcharger if we're talking about useful new cards... (EDIT: though I don't know of these cards are even obtainable...)
