And I forgot to add one of the biggest advantages of Warfare is any hero (with the skill of course) being able to control tower arrows. Nobody picks Ballista as a skill unless their hero is built just to guard a town. I cant even begin to tell you how I hate the stupidity of auto tower arrows in H3, the AI is designed as if it's intentionally trying to drive you mad. You lose castles (and therefore games) over it. The most common moronic behavior would be to ignore the flyers inside eating away your defenses and keep shooting at the L1 stacks which cant even get inside, skeletons mostly since they are the most crowded, yeah, like Necro needs another crucial advantage! The obvious choice is the vampires which fly in and whose retaliation should be avided at all costs.

I once made the mistake to improve balistas' stats and also choose this option (enhanced war machines III). I later ran into a hero which could kill stacks like 50 dread knights with a single action from his ballista
