I have just experienced one of the strangest bug in game. In second visit in Dwarven Treasury(7x100 dwarfes) with 42 Phoenixes and other Conflux stacks I lost 2 Phoenixes and not too many in others stacks, my entire 40 Phoenixes stack disappeared after the battle.

The original WOG 3.58 dont runs on hungaryan heroes.
but the era yes. You might can fix it...?

not sure this is a bug cause of this alpha wog 3.59 but i noticed when you turn of the "creaute dwellings also sell boars" option level 1 creature dwellings doesn't sell boards, they just give you some level 1 units. not sure if anyone reported this yet. and excuse me if someones said this in this thread. i have no time as i'm in a hurry.

Level 1 creatures are handed for free at their dwellings, so allowing their dwellings to sell boars bugs the game (I think so. I don't remeber what actually happens if you set these dwellings to sell boars)

tl;dr: not a bug

I think that Era, VCMI and Hota are enough. But I guess having a WoG 3.59 isn't that bad...

I gave a look at 3.59 sintaxe and I think it really flattens the curve of learning ERM. Objects and Triggers are much more intuitively recognized.
If Lua gets a manual comparable to JV's Help I believe Heroes 3 will still be played in the next century.

troop stack experience

I've manage to install Wog 3.59 v.0.7, all seems to be ok, i would like to know why the troop stacks won't get any exp. (ranks can be bought from "trainer" structure,i did choose troop stack gain exp. in wog option.

How 2 change units looks and names

Hello, I want to know what software does the WOG team uses to make it. Another question: How can I change the look of the units (and towns) and their names, that's all I want to do.

Hey guys.
Im trying to work with this source, though i can't manage to ccompile source code. Yet. Tbh didn't try hard so far.

Covers all changes made up to Alpha 8.0 and mentioned in changelogs attached, and all things i tested out myself. Also i've included basics of Lua, script examples will be added later (currently im learning that language myself)

Lua is much more than simple wrapper for ERM. For what i can see, Mod Support, Town support and blending effect are written in Lua, and it grants possibility to make hooks.

Okay so, most important news (not mentioning Lua):
- Local functions, more temporary z vars, Go-To statement.
- Custom Lods support
- Mod Support written mainly in Lua, so can be improved... more easily than in C.
- AI trigger and receiver: get/set weight of square.
- HD trigger and receiver: simple way to customize Displayed Hint
- Overwriting internal strings with UX receiver
- Temporary battle variables
- Much more readable ERM syntax errors
and hell more that i probably forgot already

Also i have pal that is translating original files from russian to english. For now we have 1/3 of h3struct.txt translated (i don't even know him, random volunteer from one Polish site) and he will proceed with translation so maybe one day I/we will make proper documentation for wog source.

Okay so, im still working on ERM Help and today i decided to move file management to github. Here it is:

WoG 3.59 isn't dead

Heya, me again. For last few months i've been workin on WoG 3.59 and mod for that "platform". Mostly documenting and testing new features. Effects:

Covers not only ERM commands and Lua wrapper for them, but also new dialog system, hacking tools and Mod support (mod-folder structure) Except proper description for advanced Lua tools (dialogs...) it's finished & polished.

It isn't Plug&Play, especially if you're not experienced with advanced IDE's. This step-by-step tutorial fixes that, so even a monkey would manage.
