Okay, that makes me worried that one day it'll stop working because servers are down.
I guess that's not to worry about right now, but It'd suck so hard to finally get that great feature and then have it go away again.. :-P
That's why I was hoping for decentralized somehow. To be sure to have it forever! :-)

But i like features like experienced units, pages, commanders, >>>new neutral units<<< , new map objects, the rest is unnecessary.

Sometimes is good to play something different than standard.

I know your feelings. I want this in one ".exe" because of this: hota has fast animations, simultaneously turns. Wog do not.
And I like option from WOG "quick combat without using magic" which is absent in HOTA. I dont want fireworks in H3 as well but some things are cool and wasting in bugged WOG

There is a mod for WoG/Era which offers much faster animations than hota/HD, for all actions on map and battles too. Then it is not hota which allows simultaneous turns, but HD mod. Which is also compatible with WoG/Era.

Cool to know. But I play only multiplayer with friends and still 2-3 players without simultaneous turns it takes too much time

PS. I keep up this because it's better talk about it than asking HotA Crew "when patch will occur" And time passes faster

No it's not the same old song. There is a perfectly good wish thread to discuss things you'd all like changed about HotA. This thread is not that thread.

I have cleaned posts out of the last page or so that do not belong here. I *will* start to penalize people who continue to post here what should be in the wish thread.

I'd like you all to be my eyes and ears here - if you see posts that do not belong in this thread, please let me know and I will delete them as soon as I can.

@Corribus My post was not a wish, it was a question and I wanted to change stuff myself, not HotA to change entirely.
Where should I post then? Even the topic title says it's for questions, which is exactly what my post was, questions.

I have a question: I recently played a hota map and used quick combat. I was fighting with Deemer. He had 120 spell points due to mana vortex. When fighting, he never cast any spells (i had master in earth magic with slow, meteor shower and many other spells too). Even after a battle with an opponent ai hero, Deemer had significant losses, won the fight but still 120 spell points after it. So is it a bug that in quick combat my heroes are not using any spells? Are the opponents ai heroes even using spells?

Quick combat without spell using is HD-mod feature. AI still must use the spells (and it uses them in tests), but sometimes there appear the reasons to suspect that it doesn't.

Then it is not hota which allows simultaneous turns, but HD mod. Which is also compatible with WoG/Era.


Although this is mostly true - one must understand that sim-turns are based on HotA architecture and will not work anywhere else.
