Uhh - you don't select exe file - you just select the folder where your Heroes III is located ( Complete edition / SoD - installed/copied/whatever, it just needs to be in playable state ) if it doesn't detect it - it just means that the heroes version you have is not one of those or it's corrupted and missing vital files ( or you haven't selected the right/main folder of the game ).

I bought it from gog galaxy the only way to have the complet version
he refuse to install cause he doesnt see the folder from gog galaxy that i select to try to install
so how can i install it with gog galaxy version ?

Sorry, not familiar with that platform but if it's like steam and has some kind of protection on the game (which I doubt is the case for this one ) it will be pain in the ass. Either way - you sure you select the right folder ? ( the one with Data/Games/Maps folders inside Heroes3.exe and so on )

Manually copy the main directory of Heroes 3 to other place on your drive (like d:/Games/Heroes 3  ), and then try to install the addons.

well i tried this, but no way, he doesnt detect it, i dont see the the exe files, it can t be selected.
so how can i have the complet version matchable with thos mods? do you have any tips, link or something, i can pay, and make it legal, but i have no idée to find it

You don't need to select the *.exe files. You need to just find the game directory.
Everything is fine, you're just doing it wrong.

Not an expert of any kind, but I'm pretty sure the problem is in the gog galaxy. Took a quick look at the program, and it seems similiar to Steam, so the file maybe changed or protected. I would ask for refund and download the file again directly from the gog site, this time not using the galaxy program.
I'm not sure what do you mean by saying downloading the game from galaxy would be the only "safe" way to get the game. Thoudands of people have downloaded the file directly from the site with no issues of any kind.

You could always go here (to the page 273 of this topic) and download HotA from Link1 or Link2. Your installation of Heroes 3 is corrupted and only yourself can figure out what led to it.

How many time i have to tell it, this the Gog Galaxy version, a platform of video game who sells it and run as an steam.

but now anti virus says there is a trojan, so i uninstalled it and wont play it, i dont want a virus on my computer

I don't think you can change this in HotA.
Play SoD with the HD mod.

Yes. But now it is even more impossible to reach. It cannot be reached on small-size maps or, for instance, on random maps. But 500 is now Azure Dragon rank. Archangel requires less score.

It is neither a bug nor a feature, but more of a limitation.
Is it somehow possible to bypass this limitation, so it's possible to choose between 17 or more heroes from the start? Could it perhaps be a future feature of HotA or HD Mod?
