Azure Dragons are pretty easy if you have Mighty Gorgons, Ancient Behemoths, Sea Dogs or Implosion or Armageddon.

@bloodsucker the only solution to this is to play with original files which i think is ugly,especially for HotA. But if you badly want it just decrease fight value of special dragons so that even on week 1 you can fight lots of them

Point system

Hi Guys,

I am new at HoTa but a veteran in the game Homm3.
I just played my 4th game and opponent resigned day 112, but I got -12 points and a loss, anyone knows how this can happen and can be solved?

this should not happen. try reporting it to Heroes 3 HD mod thread as a bug

also go to Settings and analyze the lobby options when you are in a match - maybe you quit the game before opp managed to surrender properly

they may be trying to trick you into leaving the game. unless you see an official message of game interruption, that means it is still going

I'm not sure if this is a new feature or a bug but I surely prefer the old way: when you cast Fly and you have the Angel Wings equipped now it still casts the spell while before it wouldn't.

It was a bug/unreasonable behaviour that got fixed. A pretty annoying one as well.
It's quite easy to simply not cast fly if you don't actually need it (have wings and don't plan to unequip them). Checkable in one click on the map and doesn't require additional actions.

On the other hand - it's annoying beyond any measure when you transfer all artifacts to a secondary hero, cast fly using air book or SB hat at some point with him, then transfer the arties back at some point and then realize that your cast didn't happen and arties are already away. And it can be 20+ such transfers in one turn. And each time you had to de-equip wings before casting the spell, then sometimes equip those back immediately after (cuz SB hat or air book had to be given away earlier and to a different hero). And one mistake in that regard may often cost you the whole turn - possibly the whole game.

I'm not sure I undertand the question. Yes, it attacks walls like a catapult. No, it is not affected by ballistics skill and instead is affected by artillery (as is stated in those skills' descriptions)

Yeah I know cannon is not affected by Ballistics, but only Artillery.
I just meant how much damage does it do to walls, moat, towers and keep? and what are it's chances to hit the gate, walls, towers and keep with or without Artillery?
Perhaps too many questions for one post?

Once again you privilege MP over SP, since that is not an action you will preform that often in SP and when you have 5 or 6 well developed heroes it's hard to remember who is and who is not with wings but I see your point. It's much more problematic in those conditions then simply get the habit of checking for them.

BTW, sensational work with AI and the spell research. I find TP, Fly and/or DD in almost all of their towns and when I try to replace them I see they had already been researched.

Well, not that many spells of level 5 are of some use but when you already got Fly and DD it's sometimes a little annoying that you don't get anything else.
But of course, spell research in itself makes the game easier.

HotA Bug

Hey, I'm new on this forum. I just noticed some very annoying bug that happened after 1.5.3 update. The Gem Ponds on sand terrain are now considered Gold Mines on map editor. Does anyone got this problem?
