Wait what is the Market of Time?
I've never heard of it before.

It's a very ambiguous map object, found only on the final island in Titan's winter. What purpose it serves is beyond even the supreme wisdom of the fabled Master Mullich.
((Some of the more severe cases of Alzheimer's at the retirement home will claim that its intended use was to undo poor life decisions in exchange for crack. You should ignore those people, they are just salty because the wbitch taught them Eagle Eye instead of showing them the trailer for Half Life 3.))

Curiously, I had never read that e-mail. I had assumed it was Heroes III's aborted version of Heroes V's Memory mentor — where you could exchange resources for time itself (a metaphor for unlearning and learning skills, as if you travelled back in time and took different choices). In fact, it makes way more sense to be something like this than a "marketplace that appeared and disappeared
on the map according to a schedule."

To me the Market of Time is just cheating. It'd be boring if all heroes ended up with the same skills and you did not have to adopt your playing.

You got a point there. This is, imho, one of the worst points of Heroes III — all the classes, especially late game, look too much like each other (in terms of both primary and secondary skills).

I kinda like the idea of it disappearing and reappearing based on a schedule.

Well that is a pretty good point, but like I said it could have restrictions and if it was only "open" on certain days, say only on the 7th (sunday) each week, it would also be harder to use.
Also just because you remove Learning once, there is no guarantee you wont end up with it again.
And everyone is always striving for that perfect build hero any way...
You could say HotA already did the same for spells, with "Spell research", so why not for skills as well. Lastly it should'nt be free to remove a skill, it could cost 2000 per every level of skill. So Expert Learning would cost 6000.

As the Hota crew stated earlier, they are considering changing some secondary skills. Maybe there will be some more diversity in terms of a worthwile build.

Well that is honestly about time!
To still have Learning, Eagle Eye, First Aid, Ballistics, Mysticism and Sorcery in their original versions is just baffling to me. Oh and they also ruined Pathfinding even more, by introducing those stupid Pathfinding boots.

Well resistance already changed... they also said the previous resistance will be back in game. Also some vague statements about skill changes. So far I know there should have been an update in summer... guess it didnt work out at all.

Just to make clear last i recall they were promising a text-post late august and the next update (most prob 1.6) in early autumn therefore after september 21st.
i'm really hyped for the upcoming update. I already told my friends, the same 5 people i've been playing hot-seat with for the past two decades, that we will be running down the new content on release day lmao.

I wouldn't hold them to that. We all know how fickle the HotA team is! Plus stuff pops up and life happens

Why after september 21st, does'nt autumn start september 1st?
Also did'nt they promise that article back in july? There has only been radio silence since then...

The first day of autumn in the northern hemisphere is around September 21st-23rd. It fluctuates. But usually falls around these three days

it's called "calendar autumn".
from a meteorological context actual seasons wary. even though March is considered a spring month, there's sometimes still blizzards during it.
