I thought it was a Pokemon the first time i saw the evolution video. That invulnerability 3-headed attack no-retaliation once per battle gotta be.... balanced.

... And where exactly it says there will be 3-headed attack? Note that ability like that would also mean it has no enemy retalation in general. Guys, let's not call something OP before the whole thing has been released and we've been able to test it. Before that, it will be impossible to tell if something is OP or not.

In the paragraph where it says that it will attack to the left to the right, etc. I doubt they just said that to make it look cool.

I wonder why Automatons and Sandworms are in [ ]...

These are the only two units that haven't been officially announced yet (even though the Sandworms have already appeared on some promotional materials associated with other units).

Doing X to left and right is a common way of saying you're doing something furiosly. If a person says that "he was killing people from left and right," he isn't telling you that he did shoot with two guns simultaneously.

@DrSlash Thank you, sir!

I agree, but you gotta admit being able to buy 2 level 7 units in one town, is unlike anything we have seen before.
Invulnerability of Couatl also sounds pretty powerful, especially the upgraded version.
But let's wait and see, we have'nt tried Factory yet.

with these creatures the impatience for the release grows more and more, not to mention the city, I have been counting for some time how many days are left for the new year

P.S
maybe in the future other level 7 units will be added to the other cities to balance?

I totally agree that it sounds strong, but it should also be noted that in the Dreadnought article it was also stated that creatures are not acquired in normal way, (I'm just typing this from my memory) and I'm not all convinced that having 2 tier 7's will be the only surprise.

I assume that the upgraded one will be extremely irritating to deal with, but the basic form will be not that terrifying. Like sure you can ressurrect it while it cannot be targeted, but other than that it doesn't sound unfair or anything like that.

New unit looks awesome. I like the idea of two 7-tier unit as well. Two builds, one focused on technology and second on living creatures, seems fresh and should provide high replay value.

Not neceserly, in most multiplayer games you don't have enough time/resources to build and upgrade even only 7th tier, not to mention two.
In terms of single player game, Im sure that costs are going to be high enough to not make it possible to build/buy both with only  1/2 cities. And when you have more towns you can get 7 tier units from different towns as well. Ofc time will tell, but on paper it seems possible to me to implement it and not make it too OP.

I meant in Heroes 3 and Portal of Summoning only provides basic growth of a random downgraded unit.

Yes and I also still feel Sea Dogs are OP, mostly because of Accurate Shot, but also insanely good stats and two other abilities.
I know some people likes to call them glass cannons, but they are still more durable than Grand Elves.
Cove heroes also starts with more level 2 and 3 troops than any other town. They even have Jeremy that starts with a cannon. Leena is an extremely good money maker right from the start. Elmore is excellent on water. Miriam is excellent on land.

True, the Sea Dog thing. People even base their PvP and neutral battles' strategy on them.

Well, I think most people wouldn't even be happy with a new town, if it ended up being something extremely straightforward like Stronghold. It's only good that there's something we can be excited about.

mmmmmmm not sure how I feel about the 2 level 7's thing, especially since you can build both of them. Does this mean they're going to try and give every faction an alternate unit as originally planned?

Not in a town perhaps, but Hill Forts allow Iron Golems to be upgraded to Gold and Diamond Golems.

Since you mentioned Portal of Summoning, AI is not even allowed to build it and if it's already build, it won't buy creatures from there.
It would be nice if you could fix this.
Also allow it to build Mana Vortex, Lighthouse and the other buildings it can't build. (I can make a list if you need it.)

Is that true? Why the AI was programmed that way?

Because original developers would'nt be too hard on the players, same reason AI could'nt cast Berserk and certain other spells.
