yesterday the HotA crew said on their forum that there will be no special combat vehicle of the Factory. And there are no more guns on the siege of the city. I think there is a lot more that was abandoned during development (

(while you can't actually see his face there, you can see the skin of his arms, and his clothing corresponds spot-on to what he wore in MM7)
I remember now that i have seen this video beforehand.
Yet i beg to differ from your assumption; zoom into the reflection on the right window and you can clearly see the bright cyan skin and pointed grey ears!
Honestly it could be both but i think the Homm2 version has more soul to it and it's a direct comeback from the officially previous game.

Can’t say I’m disappointed. Personally, I didn’t like the idea of HotA’s second add-on faction having yet another unique war machine. Factory already has a lot going for it within its line up.

while i am here and i see your comment il also have to point out an issue with the cannon; they forgot to implement a way to upgrade from balista to cannon. you cannot discard the balista to purchase a cannon in the town screen.

Also ballista specialists got screwed, since cannon is much better than ballista. Jeremy does'nt have this problem...
And if only there was a way to make ballista/cannon/arrow towers NOT shoot at blinded targets.

Yeah, maybe there should be a universal war machine specialisation.
However I can understand why the ballista specialists aren't stellar with cannons and Jeremy isn't with a ballista
The cannon would have been a good fit for Factory but they probably have their strong points already.
Regarding the Ammo Cart, I think there are too many units with too high ammunition, lower ammunition values could lead to more interesting fights and would make the cart more useful. Pretty low prio "issue" though.

I rarely teach my heroes machine skills, so I partially agree with you, but the problem is that if you combine the three skills into one it would be probably too OP.
By the way, does any of you know if in addition to the Factory they will add more things to the game? Like new artifacts, creature banks, or map objects.

Regarding warmachines: this single skill seems appealing but at the same time it would be a bit too much, not to mention how exactly could a skill give you so many different entries in a single skill tool tip?
I would maybe see the catapult and artillery merged in a single skill, but this would leave first aid at an even lower tier.
What I would gladly see is a balance of ballista and cannon, as the second is better both in damage AND able to attack walls. Maybe giving the ballista the ability to shoot a second arrow if it kills with its first hit the target stack?

I can't really say I agree with your interpretation of it being clearly seen given the lightning of the scene. I think it's telling that Alamar was shifted to a more naturalistic skin colour between H2 and H3, too.

I can’t imagine they wouldnt make a creature bank or two with a factory theme/units. They want to leave some things as a surprise, so I could see creature banks as one of those things. They’ve got new(ish) map buildings, like the oil rig for wasteland terriain, but it’s just a water mill (weekly gold).

Yeah, I know those, they are cool. But technically they are from the 1.6.0 version, so it would be awesome if the devs had more miscellaneous novelties for the future.

what about the Serpentarium building? isn't that a new bank for Factory?

There will be no new artifacts with a 100% probability. There will be 1 visited facility (bank) for the wasteland. That's all that the Factory update will bring.

Not really, it would make it a little less horrible and it would remove First Aid from polluting the skill pool.
