Should it be possible that obstacles in combat field can form a nice, impenetrable safe place for a 2-hex flying unit?

My Archangel is completely safe from hand-to-hand attacks as that slot is fully closed from all sides.

It's "The Devil Is In The Detail" map.

Boring! Boss AI should be.. I move your troops to AI, and different map I against boss AI without legion-sucker. Simple variation. But HotA can do several maps where are boss AI. So very good idea.

That is a good example of why we actually NEED the AI to be able to cast Remove Obstacle, that or battlefields with 1 or 2 "holes" like that should not exist.

In case someone wants to diagnose this (or just have fun ), this can be reproduced:

1. Start a new game, choose "Giant" map called "The Devil Is In The Detail"

2. Get to a specific location with your hero (have a weak army) and let AL attack you.

It's this location, in the underground world:

Yes, I think this is normal behavior in SoD as well. (one hex places are also being created)

Since it's possible to force such terrains, map makers can utilize these things for certain battles.

yes, your location on the map determines the battlefield obstacles. this is how many many single player maps make sure their challenging fights work the way they want. this is nothing new.

That space would be perfect for a Dracolich (I don't know if there are any other ranged flyers)

Is there somewhere in the map editor, I can adjust some general Diplomacy settings or do I have to edit each creature stack manually?
(Not for a random map or template.)

Healing tent

I nice modification for healing tent:

When you combat, the damage of top stack unit will remains to next fight.

If you have a healing tent, or sleep in castle, the damage will be healed.

There is a suggestion thread for such ideas, but anyways, this would ruin the balance of tons of maps where you have to get by with limited units. (I for one sure love such scenarios where the spirited underdogs prevail against enemy hordes...)
