Not sure you should be happy about Macron agreeing with you. He's been somewhat of a pariah with regards to HotA .
The main point is perhaps that you've come on somewhat strong in your opinion with regards to faction balance, stating a thing or two that have simply been proven to be untrue years ago already, after thorough analysis, both on these forums and through online play and tournaments. You're likely to receive some flak for that  .

Click on statistics and see by yourself ratio winning about all towns. Those results are conclusion of 10 years online games. Still entitled to your opinion about stronghold and fortress bad towns? Then read next:

Why is it not a patch?, it is free, add-ons usually aren't. But then call it add on if you like that better.

Peasant is the most useless creature in the entire game, only good for skeletontransformer. Azure Dragon is obviously the best. 5 level 7 units are immune to Berserk, just not behemoth, hydra, angel and devil...
Well if nobody agrees with me on anything around here, I guess I am done posting for while. I signed up here because I really like Heroes 3 and came in here with a positive attitude, but apparently everything I say is wrong?! People don't even try to argue against my points, I guess that means I am right after all...

By the way, Inferno creatures must all have fire immunity. This faction an essence of fire and fire magic, still they are vulnerable to fire. HOTA fixed only gog's friendly fire, as i read.
PS Angel under Berserk should temporarily morph to Devil Joke.

You overestimate berserk, probably you used it a lot vs computer, and as he is coded to cast defensive spells first, you nailed it. But berserk actually is VERY hard to make effective. If you meet a stronghold army and you are faster and you cast first berserk on behemots, do you believe it will work? Just make the math, they don't move first. So you wasted your first cast turn, which means you probably lost the battle vs equal opponent.

No I'm not overestimating Berserk, with expert fire magic berserk is typically able to affect 3-4 creatures and if you want to recover from that you need expert dispel or cure.
I don't know how it is tournamentwise, if all spells are allowed there everyone is probably only picking earth and air magic, which sounds really f***** boring to me. Fire is probably the worst magic school, but you can't say that expert berserk is not really powerful!
Why do you keep thinking you are better than me, that is really condescending and annoying, will you please stop that.

Man, you didn't join a forum about how handsome are men, girls or other purely subjective things. You joined a gaming forums where skilled and experienced people daily discuss strategies, outcomes, maps, solutions and so on. Because they love the game and the activity around. So what makes you think, from your first day and your first post, that you can not be wrong thus everyone contradicting you has an ego problem?

Phoenix4ever, he told you that Stronghold had advantage in multilplayer due to quick army raising and enemy will be at your door at day 8 and your reply is defending yourself with level 4 spells? (Not to mention they dont always pop up and you might get stuck with Sorrow and Waterwalk.)

You did'nt even try to counter my argument about mass berserk, so I guess you agree on that as well.

Only an ignorant player will construct his strategy around ONE level 4 spell, whose probability to appear in guilds is 10% per town, and which forces you to choose a useless skill, and then can be countered by several artifacts,one being a treasure so you find it at each corner, or by resistance, and which must be cast with a microscopical precision in order to achieve wanted effect.

That is not the only way to counter Stronghold and I never said that. Besides who says they will be at your door day 8, first they need to find your castle and if they can locate that in 8 days, towns are pretty close to each other.
Also they can have a maximum of 2-4 normal behemoths at that time if that was all they focused on building and what about money and resources?, don't they need Town Hall, Capitol and resourcesilo as well?
