Woohoo, a new update was totally unexpected.
Now I am just waiting to get my computer back from repair.
Is there a changelog somewhere, preferably in english?

There will be 1.5.1 bugfix release in a few days, 1.5.0 was withdrawn from official servers.

Happy new year everybody and big thanks to HotA Crew and everybody working on the project!
The long changelog shows us that they were never slacking and actually managed to meet the deadline (imposed by themselves)! 1.5 brings, amongst others, lots of balance and standardization attempts, new map objects, new terrain native to Conflux, mechanics for rerandoming spells in Mage Guild and more.
But perhaps, I would say that the biggest feature so far in this update is introduction of RMG Template Editor. This thing seems huge and revolutionary for both singleplayer and multiplayer. Better start making templates and hope your one makes it to the mainstream as a classic!

Happy New Year to everyone and big kudos to the HotA crew. Yet again an impressive changelog with some nice AI enhancements and multiplayer balancing tweaks.
Don't know if it is correctly translated in the log but why got the animated laked removed?

That was my initial thought too but I still tried to update... after several "retry" efforts, HotA.vid file completely failed.
I'll wait for that 1.5.1...
EDIT: Yeah, now update fails from the get go, which confirms the withdrawal of 1.5.0.

As usually in this case - try running with administrator priviliges.
