That's another story, OK, I agree.

PS Macron : If you don't have anything useful to say... then don't say anything.
I have much to say and I am saying it.
If you cannot use my throughts it's not my problem.
I never saw your posts here before, so it's you who has nothing to say. You're just jealous.
PS How can you be fed up with me, if you "To my great shame I didn't check on HotA for 1 year and something now." You were absent here doing nothing, and now you appear and claim demands to moderators, trying to deprive me of the right to express an opinion
Your, "opinion" is you constantly complaining and treating HotA like it's literally the worst thing since cancer. Seriously, you never have anything nice to say about this project. I know you have some sort of strange vendetta against the crew, but can't you keep it to yourself instead of clogging up the forums with it? (First post, been lurking the forums for at least over a year now.) (Edit: Keep up the good work HotA crew, by far my favourite mod so far, and I'm really impressed with the amount of detail put into it.)

It's as if it can't find it anywhere!
Put it on the Maps folder?
Obviously I did, but I can't find it in there. I can only find it via map editor itself...

You need to specify a map name in the editor's Tools -->Map Specifications --> General menu. Otherwise your map will show up as "Unnamed", regardless of its filename.

@matthewherbert
HotA can open SoD maps, so it *seems* that you're during something wrong. There's two folders with maps, 'random_maps' and 'Maps'.
The maps in 'random_maps' is opened by the 'SHOW RANDOM MAPS' button in-game. The maps in 'Maps' by the 'Show Available Scenarios' button.
However, if you for example start a Hot Seat game with 2 human players and the map is configured for '1' AI and '1' human player, it wont show up. Could be such an issue?

I don't think the community has made any HotA scenarios as of yet that has been released for public consumption. You might have to wait for an HotA update that has more scenarios included.

I loaded version 1.3.2.0 but the same maps except that errors are repaired

maps4heroes.com doesn't have HotA category yet, so it's a bit hard...maybe we should create a new thread for user maps? (now I'm even more conviced about the HotA subforum)

That isn't the problem either.
Only different thing about my selfmade maps is the fact I get a lockicon whereas the others don't.
But can't find any option to change that...

MAP editor crash, http://pastebin.ca/2554853
As there seems to be a lack of even one real giant map I decided to make one (very slow progress...). Barely started, some few landscape objects placed, some with brush, then customized manually. Then I wanted to use brush again, in underground level (no problem top-side), I painted some area blue, clicked the button and it threw an error at me, and closed the editor, several times over. And a few days earlier I could use brush in underground without issues.
I as well tried the same on a completely new and empty map, no such problem there. Then back to my barely started map and still the same problem.

New map
My first Hota map is almost ready for release. :-)
'Huge' map, 8 factions, 3 teams, 2 neutral castles (Cove and Conflux) and a lot of extras.
My masterpiece!

I don't know where you get all this ideas.
I never said HOTA is cancer or something bad. You can search my posts and see, that I only criticized some minor things (and always do).
I don't like blue birds (upgrade looks same as degrade, previous birds were more good). I don't like red eye ogre portrait. I don't like changes in classic factions and skill they do. I don't like that Phoenix Horde don't look like Phoenix's.That' all.
But as you can see I wrote that I have no complaints about graphics quality.
Don't make me some infernal HOTA hater denying anything they do.

Try update HotA "from the second launcher" new version fixed the problem I think

Tried it, says "no updates". Problem's still there.
I wonder, would anyone else have the same problem? Here's the barely started map, http://www.speedyshare.com/YhTkb/yyyy-Patchland.h3m
(If someone dares.) Just go underground and use brush on some land, should crash the editor. To rule out whether it's just me or not, or perhaps something with the map itself.

Those are just different representations of dwarven treasury for different terrains.
The point was that Fred has a ton of images that could be used in the upcoming HotA towns.

The structure seems made of wood too, there are no large glass windows where a bright white light comes from, no polished concrete and no sign of heavily electrification, so I would not classify that as cyber punk.
it's not wood, it's rusted metal. i may have to change the hue a bit, and increase saturation a little, if that was your first impression. at least i got the steampunk right, that is what i was going for. even if the building beside the main building is a uranium refinery.
