*Fog of War could regrow 1 Square a day, with scouting it may stay revealed for a week. Also not the full (black) fog, a transperent one would be nice, where you can see monsters/artifacts you haven't
I like the idea pretty much, but if the return of caravans is compromised, this idea is even harder to implement. But some people here seems know how script works, so let them decide..

Actually, Diplomacy is a killer for Necropolis. Killer for their enemies, that is ... Necropolis can hire most of the neutrals it encounters that way and convert them into Skeletons and such.

Sure, Necropolis with skeleton transformers but there are some peasant huts also super efficient.
Btw. I like that accumulating dwellings as they are right now, startcount when conquered also makes sense
*Is something planned for Swamp Towns like Cove and Fortress, they look quite underpowered in the beginning (travelspeed of heros without pathfinding). Maybe Fortress/Cove heroes could gain a hidden buff for that terrain they are used to (25%?)

Native creatures don't get movement penalty.

That's basic Heroes III movepoint management that any player learns when he tries to use his moves efficiently. As well as "speed boosting" by leaving the fastest creature and understanding the mechanics of movement through all the possible combinations of rough terrain/roads/pathfinding.

Dude, the point of diplomacy is that you get the creatures at lower cost than when hiring in town/outer dwelling. To get out of low-on-money mode collect stuff out there + fight creature banks and buy a town's weaker units (or units you don't need tactically) only in case you desperately need to.

I don't see your point. Lower costs for mixing other town types aren't the best choice imo. Nagabanks aren't quite enough with 5k for one Titan and 1,6k per Naga means for two units 16400 per week, 13440 for the Rest = 29840 vs 28000 on capitol, with 2 towns you need at least 3 additional Goldmines or 3 piles of gold/chests per DAY whats impossible to maintain. With 7500 average from Nagabank also means you need to clear 2 of them per week or 1 Utopia/week to maintain 2 Tower towns, same upotic... compared to other towns Tower is definite expensive.

1. Diplomacy can not only give lower cost, but totally free units out of nowhere.
2. You always have to mix units in this game to suceed. There's no time to develop your army for months.
...we are talking about cleaning Utopia week 3, right?

On giant maps? Depends on your style to play i think, vs. other Players you may be right about mixing, but computers are quite dumb.

Umm, if you plan to play with diplomacy, building titans is useless. Any build after Capitol is useless. Diplomacy itself is a low cost town, where you choose your recruits among ~150 types.
But when don't know how swamp/rough heroes move, maybe should not make smoking theories about game.

Diplomacy rules, duuuude...and I'd swear it was even better in H2 (I remember at least one scenario where I was constantly joining new recruits on a daily basis and my biggest problem was always running out of (stack) space

Hmn maybe i should try out diplomacy some more. Haven't played much with diplomacy, but i seems you're quite more flexible and army don't need much support.

I installed HOTA with HOMM3 Complete, and now when I launch it with hota's .exe, in campaign section I have only HOTA campaigns to select. Is there a way to play the other 3 official campaigns in HOTA version?

No, not for now. We have some plans on implementing those, but right now it is absolutely impossible.
