Can't wait 'till i see some results in an update. I also got some experience as painter/pixeleditor. If it would speed up the process and I got the time I would do some stuff over time.

Optical it is better and much more stable than WoG, but atm I miss the better balance for spells/abilities. Buff for Fire- and Water-Magic for example and unused/worse hero skills.

WOG and ERA have network problems, especially in long games that need to process more data, but if it is true that such Commander in HOTA longs and a few other small improvements, but I value stability.

I have been following this thread on a regular basis, but I do not remember whether such a question (and the answer to it) came already here.

I would like to ask if HotA Crew planning (or even considering) work towards improving the experience of units (as in WoG 3.58f). I realize that it would strongly alter the mechanics of the game (which has so far avoided HotA Crew, desiring to create mod in the spirit of the original Heroes 3), but it would be, in my opinion, a very interesting option.

As far as i've read an experience system like in wog is planned to rebalance troops. But dunno if it is off the table atm or still in developement.

It was part of the original announcement (it's linked on the first page under a mod's note), but considering the direction HotA has got, I would be surprised if they went for creature experience.

If any balance improvements should be taken care of right now, that would be imo spells and secondary skills. 1/4 of the secondary skills are useless and spell schools are way more overpowered than others (earth>wind>water>fire).

There is no wind magic.

Earth = Air > Water = Fire

in multiplayer depends which town u play, some prefer mass haste while others mass slow.

Well, they said that they'd bring some changes to secondary skills in 1.3.4 patch...whenever it's released

Creature experience does not stand any test for classicality. No, it will not be implemented in HotA . The information from previous opening post is reaaally outdated.

Spell and skill balance will be discussed AFTER 1.3.4
There is no such goal to make all spells and all skills equal, but rather just to make them of some use more often.
