However, it might just be that a game with a memory leak problem (which actually should have been noticed asap if any testing was made) can be rightfully called a beta from my point of view.

Do we even know it has a memory leak for sure?  I don't think it does, because if I play for 4+ hours and exit, my system resources are still at 92%.  That isn't a memory leak, otherwise it wouldn't be able to free the memory and keep my system running so well.  A memory leak is memory that is not freed at any time.

I think the "problem" is simply, as I stated in my previous post, that the longer you play, the more RAM is consumed by music, graphics, etc.  Eventually you run out of RAM and have to use virtual memory, which is very slow and sometimes buggy... I think that's more a general windows thing than a Heroes 4 thing.

Yeah, I dont think you can say there's a memory leak either, since some people (like brody and myself) dont have memory problems at all...

For there to be a memory problem with THE GAME, it would hafto affect EVERYONE...

I can leave the game up forever(the longest ive done is about 15 hours, and it wasnt too much slower than normal then), and it wont crash.

BTW: if you play almost any game for many many hours, it will get slower... this is not some exclusive thing for heroes 4 guys...

Instead, I think that the title of this thread(that started all the memory arguments, ironically) is likely the truth to the situation.
