I'm sorry, I did not mean to imply that it was that specific post I got a QP for that explained it. But you found it anyway.

I got the info from the Compendium, yes. But I'm at work now, so I actually shouldn't be messing about on HC. I'll look it up tonight.

Ok, so I'm home now and I've look it up.
As far as is told in the Compendium, Mother Earth and Father Sky are two Powerfull Beings, from the Dream World. They are stated explicitly not to be Gods. Especially since Orcs hate all Gods and would not honour or invoke them if they were.
Whether they are elementals is unclear. Elementals exist either in the Spirit Realm or in the Physical Realm. However Orcs are able to tear the Divine barrier between the realm and create a sort of limbo between those, which is the Dream World. Mother Earth and Father Sky are beings in that limbo.
As far as their power goes, I'm not sure where they stand on the ladder. I think they stand below the Gods in absolute power, however, since the Gods are locked out of the Physical Realm and Mother Earth and Father Sky, aren't, I think. Which causes them, as opposed to the Gods, to directly affect the Physical Realm and in practice are roughly equal.

So they can have a big role on the physical realm I assume? In Ashan?

Mother Earth and Father Sky? Possibly, their link to the physical realm seems greater. However, much of that hinges on the Dream World, as it is specifically left vague as to what that is, other than that it is a "Tearing of the Veil". Where the Veil is the divine barrier between the Physical and Spirit Realms.

That same Compendium states that Dream World is how Orcs call Spirit World ;-)
Father Sky and Mother Earth are often compared to Ylath and Sylanna respectively, or to various aspects of Asha, but who they really are is still unknown.
P.S.: interesting quote from Kraal:
"Dragon of Air or dragon of Light... Wind or sun, both dragons are faces of Father Sky. Maybe Griffin people not so different from Orcs. Heh heh heh."

I thought out some campaign for Heroes 7:

1. Sanctuary - the campaign follows the story of Niyaka, a middle-aged Coral Priestess who was raised to be anti-human.
After the defeat of the nagas by  the humans in the first Great War of the Seas, Queen Hiromi gave birth to a daughter whom she named Niyaka. She raised Niyaka to hate humans. Giving various books and having an Orc Shaman, a Demon and a Necromancer, all previously fought humans tutor her, she’s been given various knowledge as to what the strengths and weaknesses of humans are.
And now, the time is right, Niyaka grows up to be a beautiful woman. She inherits the throne from her mother.  Niyaka’s campaign will be all about conquering the other Naga towns and overthrowing their High Queen then gathering troops to wage war on the humans and their allies.
Personality: Hardened due to what her mother planted in her, no male naga wants to be in a relationship with her. Because of that she’s jealous of other beautiful female nagas. She sends them to suicidal missions once she knows that girl is popular among the men. She’s an emotional decision-maker. She also hates humans and wants to kill them no matter what human it is. Men, women, children, no one is safe. If you're a human whether a threat or not, whether you can benefit her in the future or not, it doesn't matter. Niyaka WANTS YOU DEAD.

2. Sylvan - after Findan returned from Sheogh, the Elves of Irollan focused all their energy on rebuilding their forests. Irollan suffered greatly from the blight of the Necromancers.
And now, it's time to name Alaron's successor, and by popular opinion, everyone wants Findan. However, Findan doesn't want to be King. He says he's not fit for the responsibility. He'd happily be the warrior-general he always was. As their only candidate for King refused to become King, the Elves are in a state of confusion. Some are about to panic.
Concerned for his kingdom, Talanar promise the Elves he will find a competent king for them. He asked Findan to lead them for a while until he finds the suitable king.
The Elven campaign's main character is Talanar. His quest is to go to the northern edge of Irollan to find Avernus, the only other elf suitable to be Irollan's King. He will meet a lot of Dark Elves along the way and some hostile Nagas roaming around the shores.
Like in Heroes 5, Talanar is a hot-head. He easily gets annoyed. He has a strong sense of camaraderie. As such, he's a very defensive player.
Along the way, Talanar will meet Vinrael, a calm, observant, highly intelligent elf commander. He's a perfect contrast to Talanar and will be your second hero. The way the campaign is designed, yes, you need a second hero. The main villain of this campaign is a dark elf named Arkan. He was sent by Suiadan to prevent the Elves from getting their king and assassinate that king once he finds out who he is. Talanar and Vinrael will have to beat him in the final mission.

3. Necromancer – once was one of the most talented arch mage in the Silver Cities, Malik lost everything when his wife, a Griffin Empire human countess named Lucille accused him of false wife-beating allegations. Brookshire is a town full of chivalrous white knights. A woman’s word is gospel to these people. With a whole town against him, he became a criminal in the Haven town. Lucille’s friend and ally, Narisza and two other wizards of the circle: Jared and Na-el, made sure he will never serve in the Silver Cities ever again.
Malik wasn’t imprisoned because he was in Anwaar (Academy town) when he “committed the crime” (according to his wife) but he was removed from his position. Growing hungry of serving for the good of many, and no friendly town willing to accept a criminal in their ranks, Malik became desperate and turned to the faction he once hated, the Necromancers. With the Necromancer Antonietta’s help, Malik became a vampire and quickly rose in the ranks of the dead.
With the news of his sister, executed by Lucille, he declares war on the Unicorn Empire. A merciful leader of the dead, Malik spares enemy soldiers’ lives whenever he can. That all changed when his nephew, whom he loved dearly was burned to the stakes after the humans knew his uncle was a Necromancer.
Malik’s campaign will be all about hunting down Lucille. Though, his more human side is seen in the earlier part of the campaign, he becomes more ruthless after his sister and nephew were killed. He looks for Lucille, and by doing so, he passes by and kills the 3 villains that helped her destroy his life: Na-el, Jared and Narisza. Each of which are the mini boss of each of the last 3 missions. Lucille however, escapes and is hiding in the Unicorn Empire, continually hunted down by her dead former husband.

4. Dungeon – after suffering a massive defeat from Talanar, Arkan knows there is absolutely no way he can assassinate Avernus. With Talanar’s strength and Vinrael who can easily sense his surroundings, Arkan would have a better chance turning against their evil clan enslaver than killing Avernus.
The Dungeon campaign follows the story of a young assassin hero (and once prince) of the Deepvenom clan. Arkan was just a little dark elf when his clan was conquered. Being a very skillful and talented assassin-hero, he became a favorite of their enslaver’s clanlord, Suiadan. Arkan’s record was who knows how many wins and 0 defeats; until Talanar messed it up ofcourse. Suiadan however hasn’t treated him or his people nicely. But Arkan knows it’s wise to be Darkor’s (Suiadan’s clan) slave and learn everything from them and only strike when the time is right.
Arkan was the main antagonist of the Elven campaign. He only survived because Talanar showed him mercy. The battle against Talanar diminished his troop’s number. He knows he can’t  kill Avernus with both Talanar and Vinrael guarding him. So, he decides to now turn on Suiadan. He has to because Suiadan will exterminate a good number of his people if he brings news of his failure.
Also, the campaign begins with Niyaka gathering Sanctuary’s finest Coral Priestesses to submerge the Unicorn Empire under water. Since Ygg Chall is close to the Unicorn Empire, ofcourse they’ll be affected! As Arkan moves to his caverns, he notices water slowly rising.
Meanwhile, the Druids of Irollan felt the lands tearing apart. Their new king dispatches Talanar to the Jade Ocean (where the druids felt it) to investigate what it is that’s causing great pain and fear to the Druids.
With stealth and treachery, Arkan is successful in liberating his clan. However, the growing water in the clan’s caverns is growing alarmingly. So, Arkan goes to Ylaya to ask Malassa what’s happening. Malassa points out that the Sanctuary Queen, Niyaka is causing this. So, he goes to the Jade Ocean to put a stop to it. There he meets Talanar. Neither him or Talanar brought a huge enough army to beat the Nagas. Though, both are confident with their fighting and strategic abilities, the number of Nagas is just too huge. So Arkan and Talanar joins forces. The two Elven races united once again to face their common foe.
In the last mission of this campaign, Findan will make his reappearance as Talanar’s reinforcements and Ylaya who is sent by Malassa to help Arkan save the dark elves from underwater submersion. Though, they will only be controlled by the AI.

5. Haven – the Haven campaign begins with Duncan slain in battle and Freyda was there to witness it. This is a very emotional start for the Haven campaign. You get to see Freyda cry again with Duncan in her hands, dying.
The Empire is now in greater turmoil since Duncan was the better ruler of the two. After the demon invasion, many heroes of the Griffin Empire died. Now, even more died with the Naga and Necromancer invasion. The Empire is left with only three heroes defending it and a weak queen. With the Nagas from the south and Necromancers from the east invading their lands, the humans are now in their most hopeless state.
The news of Duncan’s death awakens a burning passion of hope of a young man in the town of Ashwick. Jansen, a peasant in that town inspires the local populace to rise up to their Undead conquerors and help save their beloved kingdom.
Jansen Ravenworth is the main character of the Haven campaign. His peasant body language and demeanor makes it hard to convince fellow humans to follow him. Though, his charisma and (surprisingly) good fighting abilities earned the knights’ respect. At the start of mission 2, Freyda’s recent lose of her dad, immediately followed by her husband made her very depressed. She abandons the throne, which leads to an even more dysfunctional human empire.
Jansen rises as the glimmer of hope in these very tough times. He saves the last surviving heroes of the Unicorn Empire: Irvin and lovers: Rutger and Maeve (yes, the latter 2 are both from Heroes 5). At first Jansen finds it hard to gain the heroes’ respect, especially Rutger. Rutger is very transparent that he doesn’t trust a peasant with heavy responsibilities. However, Jansen proved his worth and now the heroes, especially Rutger trust him with their lives.
Irvin assigns their strongest hero, Rutger to defend the south from the Naga invasion while the three of them reconquers the lands they lost from the Necromancers.
Malik will be the main villain from here on out. He obtains the Staff of the Netherworld and curse every town he conquers. After one mission, the three heroes will be overwhelmed and Jansen decides to sacrifice himself so that the two can survive. However, Maeve stops him because the empire needs a charismatic hero like him, badly. Irvin is the strategical leader, also vital for the humans’ survival. So, Maeve is left no choice but to sacrifice herself for the greater good.
Upon hearing the news of his lover’s death, Rutger is devastated. He dedicates every fight he wins for his beloved Maeve. Meanwhile, Jansen and Irvin recuperate. With the Undead’s overwhelming number, Irvin is losing hope but Jansen talks to him and inspires him. Jansen and Irvin will fight Malik in the final mission. After they beat Malik, and is about to kill him, Malik says “all I want is to kill my wife for destroying my life” then he casts a town portal spell and escapes.

6. Academy – Rutger has successfully pushed the Nagas back to the Jade Ocean, Jansen and Irvine, defeated but not killed Malik in Heresh, and Talanar, Arkan, Ylaya and Findan destroyed Niyaka’s plans to submerge the Unicorn Empire and everything near it underwater. But no, it’s not finished yet.  Niyaka still have one ace up her sleeve.
After her defeat, Niyaka immediately flees to the sea just between the Silver Cities and Heresh and brings half of her troops and the remaining elite Coral Priestesses with her. Then, after casting a mass sleeping spell on her troops, she and her elite Coral Priestesses sacrificed them to awaken the Great shadow-like sea creature Umibuzo. Then, she kills off the Coral Priestesses to wipe out any trace of her evil doing.
Zehir, King of the Wizards, after the news of the great shadowy creature roaming around their eastern borders, destroying everything in its path summons the wizards of the circle.  This is dark times according to Zehir, he knows exactly what that creature is capable off.
In the meeting, he explains that the only way to kill that creature is to use a very strong banishing spell but it needs four artifacts: the Heart of Sylanna, the Blood of Arkath, the Tear of Shalassa and the Wisdom of Ylath. The first 2 are easy to collect but hard to find while the latter 2 are easy to find but hard to collect. The wizard assigned to collect these items must be very smart since it will require a lot of logic to solve the puzzles and riddles. Everyone points to Maahir but Zehir says no because they will need Maahir to help hold off Umibuzo. So, he sends his third smartest wizard of the Silver Cities, Sahyera.
Sahyera, also known as, the Princess of the Seven Deserts, is a young, beautiful, lively, witty, perky and funny woman. She was a gypsy but became a wizard once she discovered that was her passion. She combines the art of gypsy dancing and wizardry. With that, her special skills are music-based, but not just any music, it’s Arabic-themed.
Sahyera is not sure if she’ll succeed but Zehir, knowing exactly how her brain works, tells her that Maahir likes girls who succeed. Immediately, she plans her next moves while denying to Zehir that she has a crush on Maahir. Zehir has a close relationship with Sahyera. He likes to tease her like she’s his little sister. He also taught her how to maneuver a flying city. Since she’s not as experienced as him, Zehir summons a flying city for her and all she needs to do is ride it like it was a magic carpet. That way, Sahyera won’t have to worry about losing experience.
Unlike the previous campaigns, this campaign will be a treat to brain-stimulating game lovers. There will be a lot of puzzles and riddles along the way. And no, I’m not just talking about finding the tears of Asha. There will be riddles like “what creature has 4 legs during the day, 2 legs during the afternoon and 3 legs during night time”. And also, some good-ole puzzles!
The first artifact, the Heart of Sylanna will be located in the deserts of the Silver Cities itself. Sahyera will face the remnants of the demon-worshipping wizards lead by Jhora. She will have to kill Jhora to obtain the artifact. The second artifact is located in the northern tip frozen wasteland of Grimheim. Sahyera will look for the Blood of Arkath here. This mission will be like a clue after clue after clue type of mission. You must obtain the previous clue to go to the next one. The third artifact, the Wisdom of Ylath is located in the border of the Unicorn Empire and Heresh. Sahyera will meet Jansen and Irvine who are fighting the remnants of the Undead. She will team up with them in that mission and tells them there’s an evil shadow creature that wants to destroy the world. The fourth mission, she will look for the tears of Shalassa which is in the Jade Ocean, in possession of the Nagas. When she comes back, she’s just in time for the four elves, Jansen and Rutger arrive to help the Wizards fight Umibuzo. Hey, it’s Findan and Zehir’s reunion! The mission would be all about defending Zehir until he finishes the banishing spell. While the other heroes are off fighting the massive amount of water elementals summoned by Umibuzo from the nearby shore, the four heroes: Sahyera, Arkan, Talanar and Jansen will defend Zehir from all sides. Each hero will get a side.
After Niyaka is killed, the story goes back to Heresh where Antonietta has just came back from the mission Malik gave her. Look who she brought along. Well, well, if it isn’t Malik’s wife when he was alive. Lucille begs for mercy but she can’t think of any excuse of why she lied to destroy his life. Malik informs her that he will use her blood in his ritual to cast a massive raise dead spell on a radius that will cover half of the Unicorn Empire, all of Heresh and everything around. Then Malik tells her it will be slow and painful. Lucille keeps saying sorry but Malik told her, had she not killed his sister and indirectly, his nephew, he would have find it in his heart to forgive her.
