Play several maps same time in WOG+ERA
Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to play several maps same time with WOG+ERA without need to change MODS
Cause it seems i have a map which is "contaminated" by other Mods and i think it will bug, what can you advice me ?

this may not seem a very good solution however it would for the time being, until they do something about it. like some sort of change that automatically enables the mods that are compatible and disables the ones that aren't. but for the time being, all you can do is play COMPATIBLE maps and mods, until they do something, that's all i can say.

ok thanks for your reply
for example i just started King of World (KOW)- war and reunion and i'm stucked so want to play another one.
I tried to install TEW III
2 things
1) i let all mods active and when TEW III map load i have introduction of KOW and then map TEW III start but i have some special skills of KOW...
2) i take out from list.txt the mod of KOW, and remove the folder from Mods folder and then i have a script ERM problem...
Can you help ?
What is the clean way to activate desactivate Mods?

before you delete the mod, there is a tool called mods manager made by ERA. you activate/deactivate mods through there, and if i remember correctly all mods that are installed automatically get activated. maybe KOW IS activated but the mod folder isn't there causing an error, not totally sure, but you don't have to completly delete mods in order disable them. and make sure to disable ANY mods that aren't compatible. not mods that improve A.I or change just the interface but mods that add something new in the gameplay. good luck

is the Mod Manager in WOG options you have when you are in map menu ?
in which sheet i activate / desactivate MODS?

no no no! go to your heroes 3 directory where you installed era, there should be a folder called "Tools" look for it and open it, after that there is a folder inside it called "Mod Manager". and don't mind the files inside, just run "modsmann.exe". what you will do after that is pretty simple. you will know it when you see it. and if you are too lazy to figure it out here. there is a mod list with enabled and disabled. select a mod and click "enable" or "disable", depends on which one you selected, if it's enabled the button will say "enable", if it isn't, the button will say "disable". that's all, when you are finished simply click "run game" and everything should be fine.
if it doesn't work disable any mods beside "In the wake of gods" and "New objects patch". if you still get an error make sure you have New objects patch. if you don't have it download it here
just run the exe and it will get installed.

Between them i desactivate KOW 2.3 but when i do it happen same than when i delete the mod concerned :

hmm.... wait a minute mate, i'll install this map and see what is wrong...
hmmm please make sure of what you said: tew III or tew IV, all the results i get are tew IV
also i have to make sure of something. when you get the installer of an era map don't point the destination to mods folder but to ERA II folder.
did you WOGIFY the map? if you didn't, nothing would work.
ok i checked the list while playing, don't know why in the wake of gods is disabled, last time i disabled it the game crashed.
only got TEW IV and new objects patch and this works...

seriously! i can't find such map, give me the link, i need to see what's wrong, if i can't see myself the source of the problem i wouldn't be able to resolve it.

like i expected, but the name isn't the same  anyway is it the empire of world 3? ok, installing right now...
huh? i tried everything... is this map, kinda broken? and why is none but me to solve your problem?
EDIT: but i remember something like me re-installing era and this working, not so sure but try it. trying tight now...
it seems it works, sorry for replying so long after you have posted your problem, good luck with playing the map, i hope i helped you with this, sorry for not finding any solution but this. but the error.... it's like a corruption even if you disable or even delete the map it still shows unless you reinstall ERA, it's like the map replaced an original resource from the game....
