For years we (iosoftware) have been developing a HOMM-inspired series for Windows Mobile and later iOS.
It's called Palm Kingdoms. Currently there is version 2:

Currently we're developing Palm Kingdoms 3 and it is going to be the best one. We will add all the missing features fans were asking for and release it for Desktops and Mobiles at the same moment.
What we need is some support from you: the community of HOMM lovers. There can't be too many Heroes games, huh?
