Herry's Guide To Heroes III For Dummies
Hey guys, i'm working on a project called "Herry's Guide To Heroes III For Dummies" which is for Complete Beginners That Just Found Heroes III And Bought it but lack learning, Lesson 1 so for is done but Lesson 1 doesn't dive in gameplay it just shows Newbies to successfully run Heroes III In Windowed Mode and an Overview of the menu so i called it Overview, but don't be tricked, later you will some how awesome this project will be, don't let your minds trick you just because Lesson 1 is small. Here you post your thoughts(I will ignore any posts that make fun of this so don't bother posting and dear mods if you see one of these posts please delete them) like:
-Is this really helpful in your opinion?
-How informative is it?
-Small tips and some more information to improve this
-Do you like it?
-If not, what should be added for it to satisfy you?
-Personal opinion
when saying things on the first three of these than tell me which lesson, when you give me info and feedback i could edit the lesson and give it info from what you said.

Well the game has its own tutorial and the simple stuff like go for gold in chests or go for creatures first week doesn't require a lot to write.. on the other hand, if someone somehow managed to install heroes 3, but isn't really sure how the mouse works or what a keyboard is.. 
Joking aside, I think it highly depends on the final outcome, so it's very difficult to say. Just don't count on it being stickied as long as it's not repeating questions, and we don't really get any "dummy" questions, so even if you took the time to do it, I'm afraid it'd be a wasted effort, sorry to say.

Help is always welcome. Even though Ive played Heroes of MM series since the release of number 3, I always learn things that other players do.
Such as getting expert earth magic for more effective Necropolis gaming. That never somehow struck me as something good to do...
Id say why not? Ill even help out with something if thats interesting.

Sometimes it's the basic, fun things and details that expert people tend to forget.
I think it would help people like me, I am pretty deeply into the beginner stage. Loving it so far though.

Hi actually I could use some sort of guide to online playing. I am long time homam player but due to lack of internet for a long time my exp was only limited to solo playing and occasional hot seat games. Do you have some good guide how to play dungeon faction online? I'm one of those guys who go for capitol first I found great guide for dungeon h5 and I'm doing ok practicing against AI to get the hang of creeping but I just have no idea how to effectively creep with dungeon in h3. I always play with Deemer but I read already that shakti is powerfull.....something that I wouldn't think of even in a hundred years of playing against AI. Any tips links etc???

Go through the topic "Library table of contents" the old and new version, read the threads and try them out yourself.
Also watch youtube videos of Maretti and other players that don't play 1 day faster than 4 minutes.
Get Cranim.txt and HD mod, for better interface and play speed.
Most of all, don't go capital first ever again until you have won at least 1000 games against other players.

I suggest watching other people play, especially pros I think on Heroes3.tv you can find quite regular streams from which you can learn a lot much faster than by trial and error or reading guides.

I didn't mean online noobs, there are a lot of them. I meant actually the people who try H3 the first time.

i don't understand. what's wrong with new blood? the game NEEDS new blood to continue surviving.
not that it has any competition from any of the newer heroes games, of course.

I am not against the new blood. I just doubt it exists or, whatever, requires Herry's tutorial on how to click on the map.

2)Watch some video about ai abusing and complete online game
3)Try to replicate
4)Try to replicate better
