Yeaaah, inside jokes from Denmark don't work that well for European events. 
The flags thing was kind of nice. Definitely an improvement over the tourist advertisements from past years.
Agreed, the booing for Russia was not proper or in any way called for but that's humanity for you.
I liked the song, it was nice.
The staging was pretty horrible though. The fact that the singers were like statues on stage didn't help that at all. So rigid and still. Like they were in a funeral or something o_O

Denmark, Malta, France and Armenia are all songs I'd have given zero points btw.
Calm After the Storm, Miracle and TikTok are songs that have got listens from me after the contest.

It was said that some countries had to have commercial breaks, and the records history was a way to fill these gaps with intelligent content for the other countries.

Even if the Russian entry was a tragic example of a totally watered down potentially good pop rock song it was NOT bad , it was just a good yawn except when everything turned yellow. Maybe Roxette could’ve made the song more memorable.

Calm After the Storm was stuck in my brain the moment I first heard it. Melody, guitar, voices, lyrics, road stripes and the steady beat – small means creating a big song.
