question about Object Text Editor

i was wondering what the "anchor point" slot in the Object Text Editor was used for:

anyone know? has anyone ever used this for anything?

seems like this mistery will never be solved... Maybe you can find who made the software ?

i believe grayface made it. he is probably too busy with WoG 3.59, or any other project he may be working on.

I think the anchor point is any point on the shore where boat can land.
We had this issue long time ago in VCMI, but eventually solved it another way.

i would've thought so as well, but being that it is a place for a def, that kind of throws me off.

i'll add a test object, and see if you're right.

Edit: nope, doesn't work that way. an anchor point def, if it is as how you describe it(and how one would think), would work at sea(unless it is strictly for an erm object slot, but then you wouldn't need the slot, i don't think). it doesn't work at sea, and any point on land wouldn't make sense, as a ship already lands there, and can be fixed in passability to do so, even if it is a building.

ERM help 3.58f shows list and type of objects. It says Anchor Point is 3 number. But I don't know about image/def.

I tried !?OB227/112/1:U35; !#VRz200:S^Cursed Hill Fort^; when old script has written !?OB138/204/1; !#VRz983:S^Cursed Hill Fort^; isn't good, because AI can't use. A new script has tested that Hill Fort and Cursed Hill Fort can update a special monsters. So failed, I'm looking for other objects, and I found Anchor Point, I checked www, and I found this place
