Couldn't pull through all the Bo5 matches with Newbee and watched only the first one, but the series with LGD was great. Congratulations to them, they really deserved it. Though I'm kinda wondering, will there ever be a team taking their second Aegis? Pretty amazing how no one managed that so far. Newbee could've been the first.

Also two new Heroes.
Also Pudge arcana, ugh.

Its a much more complex verision of League of Legends. It also looks more pretty in my opinion... but I suck at MOBAs, so there is no way I could ever enjoy DOTA2...

I like it.  I hope it provides me with a fresh experience, plus I can't wait to try the new heroes.  Also, we finally get a turbo mode

omg.

Io, Lion and Medusa got some freaky talents. Mirana too, with Leap charges. Monkey King ... Jesus.

Now that I was having some fun with Morphling support, they changed Morph a lot. Good to counter those freaky strong heroes, now that he can transform himself into the enemy using their base abilities. If it works like Hybrid worked, passive ultimates work, such as PA's. With talents enabling it to target allies (such would be the hybrid scepter effect) and then multi target adaptive strike, he'll be very interesting to play.

Well, DotA has always been on the action-packed, aggressive and rutheless side of MOBA games.  Makes sense they'd continue in that direction.

There are a lot of changes that remind me of old DotA 1. I have to say, this doesn't get me all excited, it feels somewhat of a downgrade. Sure, there's some OP stuff that I even saw tested on stream, but I'm not nearly as hyped for the patch as I was for 7.0.

Well, most of the people didn't play OLD DotA1 (myself included, but I remember going to my neighbor's and watching him play on Garena, back when the hero list was half its size today, definitely a different time).  It was wild, man, very wild.  I guess the cycle repeats now, but with new heroes to spice things up.  I'm definitely hyped for this one.

I'm suprised by this update. There weren't many nerfs or buffs to heroes outside of the talent tree. They messed with two favorites of mine, morph and beastmaster, so I'm not all that excited. None of them really stand out to me

All the new items look dope. Finally one that will mute heroes!! The items are the biggest positive side of this update. I always wanted an intelligence sword counter part to Sange and yasha. It didn't specify if they'll work together but that'd be stupid if it didn't.

The new heroes don't sound interesting at all. Maybe my expectations are too high but from what I read I couldn't care less about playing them.

Pangolin is a bit tricky to play, but he's not the ordinary right clicker one. He looks funnier than many other heroes.

The Dark Willow one is a bit broken yet. She feels like a Lina with 2 disables and 2 escapes, nuking down even right clickers given she can simply get untargetable with her second ability, meanwhile, she can also root and stun. Her ulti Lv 3, if hitting fully only one target, deals 3.6 K damage before reductions. Her wisp attacks 1 target 4 times per second for 225 damage each attack. We were having problems to take down an annoying Timber, and then, poof, just like that, with that ulti. Her last talent of 200 attack speed gives her a minigun attack, akin to that given to Crystal Maiden. Some new talents do sound like they want to make heroes more flexible, fun or despairingly terrible.

Far from it.  In some aspects it is very hard, especially to those who are just getting used to new items.  Like, trying to figure out how to make poor man's shield, without realizing it's been removed  >.<

Turbo mode is amazing. Dota is fun again! Well, that's not to say that regular Dota wasn't fun, but this is a completely new level. Gone are the frustrations of being underfarmed. The only problem is that it's ruined me for non-Turbo - I was playing ranked earlier today and it felt really slow.
