Today is the Phase One where 4 teams, the wild cards plays a series of 'best of three's to decide who is going to join the other 15 teams in the playoffs.

International is amazing so far, some sick matches and 92 different heroes are picked. DotA was never this good!

I am an expert Techies player too, but I don't enjoy that hero that much and I am disgusted with people picking him every game while not having a clue how to play that hero correctly and it just translates into feed...

My bro always got first blood. Not even using item bait, that's just predictable. But by clever placing of the mines along the creep pathway. It's like 75% chance for fb on first wave.
Then at lvl 6 he goes into farm mode on one lane while pushing towers if enough space is created. After he gets ags, he joins the teamfights while keeping the lanes pushed by blowing some bombs at some creep waves. That way he doesn't lose farm and he's a menace to the other team.
Finally he itemizes the hero for hard hitting. It's not by any means the best choice for the team, support being better in most cases, but I guess this is his trademark
Oh, and forcestaff ofc. Which is hilarious

I'm kinda surprised [A] didn't manage to get to the main event. Another failed compendium prediction I guess..
On the other hand I'm glad to see EG, C9 and Na'Vi making it there

How would it be good to have a new hero if the game itself is dead  Which btw it isn't. I dunno of any other gaem that had it's top tournament giving $11 mils prize pool, no matter how alive. Like compared to doto now, the other games don't even exist

I'm witnessing the craziest Doto game I've ever seen. [A]lliance vs Cloud 9.
Naga, 100 minutes. 3 heroes with over 1000 creeps. Melee racks standing. And the server's suddenly dropping now. Allegedly some cyber attacks on US something, but those're probably some caster jokes. Twitter's on fire with memes. And best part, if this keeps up, we'll probably have a full on remake.

Was watching the game, then they had to pause, all of them disconnected. I guess the game was reloaded from save, since I stopped following it from that moment.
Game was funny at the moments, Synderen flipping out because Naga did 50 damage to a tower pretty much describes the game and how passive it was.

He's a 3.7 k MMR player. Nothing special. What's really funny is his cast style. It's a combination of wit and bad english that just makes you literally roll on the floor laughing. Yea, he's THAT "good", lol. People want him for TI5 cast

EG vs. [A] game 1 and game 2 from ESL were among the best DotA games I've seen. I was with a big grin the both games how epic they were, intense until the very very end. Yes, there were a lot of mistakes, but mistakes are what make these games amazing.
If you didn't watch it, you should feel bad! But I don't blame you, because of delays they were like around 2-3AM.
