Watched game 1. Couldn't watch game 2 it was too late.
ESL seems super hyped, like, we couldn't hear the casters from all the noise the fans made. Ofc, twitch chat was delicious in that regard too.

Yeah, for me game 2 was even better than game 1. One could argue that game 2 was a bit more passive, but it had a lot more of those memorable moments. Just watch it.

Sad C9 lost.

Actually I like base SF model a lot more now when he has been remodeled. I like it more than Arcana, those shadowy animations are just amazing.

Well, Starladder was pretty good. Tho I feel sad for Cloud 9. They have so much potential and they just end 3rd place. At least they defeated Alliance but still... I can feel EE's disappointment. Great timing for Bone7 to get sick

This game got a huge update aparently. Seems like they made a lot of changes to compete with heroes of the storm. Making the game more team based couldn't hurt though. And they finally added some items so I might just start playing again.

Yeah, many new interesting items, some with very supportive roles (as I often play with support heroes, it's pretty neat), some new - and yet a bit bizarre - aghanim bonuses.
I used to play a lot a year ago. I realized some 'health' issues due too much playing, then I cut off completely. I might play once or twice per week or per month, if I get in the mood.

Hah, so you're the support type? Who would've thought. I was imagining you'd be into more buff heroes, lol.
I on the other hand have played pretty much every position, but I'm mostly on the carry side. So yea, nothing special there I guess. But that was a while ago, as I've taken a break from playing. However I still follow the pro scene.

I have some experience and I'm efficient with pointed HCs or carriers, but I don't play them the most. Xin is my best carrier. Viper and Weaver follow. I'm not too fond of farming. I like to roam up and down, supporting with wards, ganking, protecting. I'm very efficient with Earthshaker and Shadow Shaman.
And the new Winter Wyvern was one I liked back in Dota 1, one of the last released heroes.
Regarding other heroes, I don't like some heroes in special, mainly because I get bored by their playstyle, like PA, Naix, Syllabear, Furion, Axe.

EM, OKAY!
Just opened DotA2 after a reeaaaally long time, just to see the Compendium, which I will obviously buy. With TI5 on the horizon, which has already accumulated $4 million in prize pool (Link 1, link 2), and all the hype around the new patch, I decided I'll start playing again. I'll need some practice first, but hopefully I can catch up before long.

I play carries a lot but I'll play any role that's needed. I'm most successful with Sven, weaver, OD, and faceless. But playing non carries as a carry is the most fun visage is king of this

Oops, I mean, I just watched 2 games, but not the finals.

Ah, and just to show how unlucky I was the last days, my MMR dropped from average 3.3 to 2.9 in party, and I lost 200 in solo as well.
It was a curse, voodoo, dunno, but it was really getting me worried.
No matter if playing good or bad, always some BIZARRE things happened and we lost.
But then, I was tired of supporting people and got my hands on the few carriers I play regularly. With some help of some good supp, this was the result. So I sort of got cleansed of that row of defeats in great style. ^^
