And Poly, no you are not one dimensional. It is really hard to include everyone in the story with an equal amount of time. Plus there are characters here in HC that I identify with more and have known a little longer. I'm afraid I can't help that bias, as much as I try to be fair.
Plus I haven't got to the bomb making scenario yet, which includes you and some of the others. You will just have to wait

Complete and utter armageddon hits No Man's Land. Geny charges around on his hobby horse, sabre aloft yelling "CHARGE!!!", Smithey drives his Merkava Mark IV past the trenches, its turret facing its target and lets rip an UnGodly bombardment of rounds from the 120mm main gun - its boom shattering eardrums. Azzie chews down on his cigar and lets rip with his Browning .50 Caliber Machine gun. Kipshasz stands on top of the sandbags, and fires M134 Minigun, laying down a murderous arc of fire at 4,000 rounds a minute, and showering redhot shell casings within a 5 meter radius. Veco, Bak, Tsar and Ghost are manning the M119 Howitzer, its M1 high explosive rounds rending craters into the spot that Herry once stood. "Lame-o", mutters Veco. "Anyone for a hot toddy?" asks Tsar.
Hidden in a tarpaulin covered shelter within Azzie's trench. SG is overseeing the frenzied production of sticky bombs; pipe bombs; molotov cocktails; and grenade's. Poly sits at a desk crowded with chemical's, TNT, detonators; frozen canisters of nitro glycerine and diagrams, as he makes another mathematical entry on papers marked 'The Big One'. Next to him Nooby is scooping black powder and match heads into a pipe. Then passing it to Neraus who fits the pipe with a cap and fuse wire. The completed artillery is loaded into a wheelbarrow as Stevie spits on his hands and wheels out the next delivery at full speed.

Far off in the distance, two figures can be made out. Fred and Artu are circling each other, fists at the ready Marquess of Queensbury Rules style, with palms close to the face and in perpetual movement. They constantly trash talk each other.
Artu - "You are an overly emotional intellectual dwarf, Sir".
Fred - deftly ducking a swift strike to the face. "And you are physically stunted, emotionally redundant airhead, Sir".
Artu - copping a sly jab to the nose. "I do believe you have bloodied my nose, Sir. You are a swine, Sir".
Fred - slapping his fists together and bouncing, "Come at me Brah".

Well maybe not catchphrase... But a word or an expression that they say the most. Or something memorable that makes you think of someone right away.

Heh heh. Now don't get all put out because Smithey is playing with the tank Geny. Otherwise, I will have to come in and take all your toys away from you. 
You must admit, you, resplendent upon a shimmery horse (okay yes, its a hobby horse), in your gold braided Dragoon uniform and feathered hat - is quite a sexy image. Oh yes, yes. Thrashing your sabre around. Surely that has to count for something
