@DG: If you want to rage, then you can rage. But the fall would most definitely kill you at this point... like, the dragon's head lifted at least 50ft up from where it was before, and pointed outward from the mountain that everyone else is on. But don't worry about falling out of the nose atm, gale force winds and he tilt of the head will take care of that.
@Alkar: You can make knowledge checks untrained, yes. You just don't have a good chance of succeeding.
@Kareeah: Both checks will do, and one of them gets you a litle something... but I'll wait to see if Geny gets better rolls than you. As for throwing the ring... er... that probably won't work out all too well... and rings are really, really hard to find in the middle of a mountain.

I'll take any punishment you'll give considering my awful roll, but I just want to be sure we're on the same page. I did not try to climb, I jumped. According to what I've read, jumping results in the first 1d6 of damage being non-lethal. I guess since I rolled -1 it counts both as a fall and a "critical" fall at that, hence the 4d6.

Ciaran maybe can infiltrate its brain and use it as a punching bag, but regarding the size category of the creature, I think that sounds more dangerous than anything. On the bright side it beats a steep drop to splat on the ground.

Well, looks like untrained I can only know something no more than DC 10. If it's DC 10 or less, I got it with my 16 and 17.

Alright, there we go... sorry that took so long, all. Geny, we'll call it the critical derp of death, and say that landing on your head is pretty lethally painful.
And as for this dragon driving idea... It has regeneration. So getting through the skull might be a bit difficult. Also, it's not going to let you sit in its nose! That gets all tingly after a while.

I'll roll a will save when we actually get to fighting it.
EDIT: Not a big fan of frivolous rolling. No offense meant, Gnomes. Like, if you insist, I'll do it, but I frankly don't see the point if my character has no ill intentions to roll something to see if my character can have ill intentions. Like, my character will do ill intent when she intents ill and then we can roll, but before that I don't see see the point of going to that other forum, log in, make a new post see result and link that result to this one.

Incidentally I'm assuming the dragon, having moved 50 feet just in the course of waking up, is out of range of my within-60-feet Detect Evil.

@Alkar, Feather would remember that the skeleton with the scroll had been decapitated, so they likely did not die of being trapped in anything sticky, snot or otherwise.
