Fast healing is basically the regeneration spell/ ability in HoMM, it heals you every time you act or every round that passes. With the Blessing of Creation, you get fast healing 2 in a zone of Strong Creation... which you are currently in. So basically, every post you make you heal 2 HP.

Nifty. Out of morbid curiosity, are the handcuffs and piano wire part of the overlap? (Seriously, is there some obscure-but-useful task they could be put to while, say, hiking?)

sorry, i forgot about my post here. i think you mean a different kind of "survivalist", as well. the kind i'm talking about, are the people who prepare daily for the end of civilization. now, to answer your question:

handcuffs would not literally be needed, but some kind of restraint would be, in case someone had to be bound, if they posed a threat to others(in a scenario where two different groups meet, and there are odds between them, but in a more civil manner, i guess). piano wire? it would depend on the thickness, but typically not useful for realistic traps. it would, however, make an excellent garotte for any would-be "raiders"(that's survival-speak for "wandering looters").

Piano wire isn't the best for climbing down a mountain though... the rope is too thin and would cut into your gloves/ skin.

Nope, I definitely don't know what that thing is. With that roll, I might not even know if it's a dragon!

How big is "small" gnomes? "Smaller than the dragon that can literally fit the whole party up his nose" doesn't narrow it down much.

The dragon is medium sized (but a long quadraped) so about 4'6" tall and 9'2" long... Which I think is about as large as Feather and Nathaniel together, over-all.

Also, the black one looks like a dragon and is standing next to the bigger dragon... It's not that hard, silly Nathaniel.

There are a lot of dragon-like creatures that are not true dragons, and Nathanial is well-versed enough to know this. Silly Gnomes.

Ninja'd!
I wouldn't mind if Nathaniel was too busy with the creature/ didn't hear Ciaran prattling. Would be really funny to me in a way.

EDIT: PSHAWWWW! Such a gentleman!

almost as much as he did with the fact that in spite of this facet of his condition Den hadn't immediately plummeted downwards on contact (and subsequent eradication) of the ground.

(Perhaps the creature had some control over it? Or perhaps he was levitating, and only trying to give the impression of being in contact with the ground? Nathanial resisted the urge to check.)

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, air would have the same issue as the ground. Continual implosion, until no air.

Unless there is no air, as there is no sun, and we are able to survive without oxygen where we are.

And he should have difficulty vibrating the air to produce audible speech as well. But I don't know how much advanced physics my Paladin knows, so I didn't bring it up. It's probably magic anyway.

My answer to all of that can be quantified like so

Also, you may be vastly over-estimating the destructive force of this relatively tiny dragon... Which is a good thing. For you.

Posting to get something posted with a slightly comedic note again. Ciaran's thinking aloud, so she can drop the shakespearian act for  a while.
