The dragon is simply known as a Void Dragon, a solitary beast that is drawn to powerful wells of magic (which it consumes with prejudice). It was likely drawn to this scene by the conflict, and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time...

Well, you just saw the trapmaster again (unfortunately alive), you are now outside, and despite it getting dark you still probably have an hour or so of travel if you wanted to move. Den is also missing, despite the sounds of combat having long since disappeared... you may wish to discuss that at the very least.

I had a thought; once Geny's done questioning the roach could we feed it to Den to keep it from reporting back to Asmodeus?
...it's a really good thing I'm playing a Lawful Good character in this game. >_>
