Why Is There No 2nd Sylvan Campaign?
I know this is late reaction but I just started playing Tribes of the East. I've already finished Vanilla and Hammers of Fate.
Anyway, I really love Sylvan so I'm very disappointed they got the 2nd campaign shaft (along with Inferno).
So, how do the developers decide which faction will get a 2nd campaign? If there was a 3rd expansion, would it be Inferno and Sylvan in the main campaigns?
I think it would have fit if the 3rd campaign in HoF was Sylvan instead of Dungeon since the chaos in the Griffin empire affected Sylvan more than Dungeon.

If I had to guess, the publisher decides which factions will be in the game and then it's up to the writers to play ball with what they have. This is not necessarily a developer decision.

It seems to be that concept of Sylvan on Ashan assumes to avoid any conflicts what are not belonged to elves or their territories... They have no reason to deal with Empire, Necro or someone else problems)

well, they did meddle with the Griffin Empire. Remember the 1st campaign, 1st mission of Hammers of Fate? They sent troops to prevent Laszlo and Freyda from getting reinforcements. Aside from that, they were absent all throughout.
I'm wondering what happened to the Elves after Alaron died. Did Findan take over? I would have liked it if they were in Tribes of the East, along with Academy.

I like to think that Findan took over the elven kingdom. He did restore the alliance with the dragons, and liberated the capitol. Maybe the reason why are they not involved in the later events that took place on Ashan is because they are trying to rebuild their kingdom (they were attacked by demons and undeads, and they lost their king in the process).

Like I said, after rescuing Isabel from Sheogh, the Elves supported the rebellion. They sent troops to delay Freyda and Laszlo.
