Nathanial's magical detection of evil reveals a rather vile cockroach (no seriously, it's a thing. Fiendish cockroaches) and is able to blanket a good portion of the cave. It also reveals that the flames that the party passed are radiating negative energy as well, making the likely source of these conflagrations the pits of the hells themselves. Beyond these things, nothing evil shows up on your scanning lens.
Ciaran and Feather get around the bend and find the void walker standing there, its blade drawn and held at the ready. Feather notices a few things; The first is that the void walker's blade crackles lightly with energy and is a masterfully crafted katana, with a few small topazes studded in the hilt. She would also notice that those strange six pronged claw tracks seem to continue tracing along the ceiling, leading to a cubby hole in the caves and disappearing there. Finally, another pyre is on your right, blazing and warning you to stay away. Your protective clothing and armor keeps the worst of the oppressive heat from your skin, allowing you to concentrate on the soldier in front of you.
"Well that took long enough." The void walker mumbled in what sounded like common, though it seemed to be distorted somehow, as if it was being translated before being heard by your ears. Giving an annoyed sigh, the void walker asks, "So mortals, how long have you known and have you been working with the Great Traitor?"

To Nathanial and Vorbrin, the conversation would be muted and distorted by the curvature of the tunnel and the roar of hellfire.
However, the fiendish roach seems to be reproachful of your offhanded remarks pertaining to it, and in likely the most adorable squeeky voice you've ever heard objects, "Hey, I'm standing right here you know! Bloody paladins..." Before starting to scuttle deeper into the cave.

"My dear, many-legged friend, why are you in such a hurry? Stay with us a while and talk. That is of course, unless you don't need the sensory abilities of your antennae or the balance granted to you by an even number of legs on both your sides."

@Vorbrin and Nathanial: If the cockroach had lungs, it would have thrown them up just so it could swallow them again. Needless to say, no matter what objections it might have had, the fiendish bug is stopped dead in its tracks and it can't seem to say everything it knows fast enough. "I was just minding my own business see? When the big guys down south said that they felt a small hole in the void's dimension lock, and I said that I didn't detect no hole and they took that to be volunteering for the job and sent me in here to investigate who or what could summon anything, let alone hellfire into the void, maybe do a little temptation song and dance to try and get them on the fast track to the lowar life and report back to Asmodeus when I was done. They probably think I'm going to die, and that's funny to them. Please don't hurt me, I'm fragile and my guts smell gross."

@Feather and Ciaran: The void walker looks at you like you are the most insufferable idiots it has ever met, before apparently considering something and mumbling an annoyed hiss in primordial. "Of course you wouldn't know him by that name, the only thing shorter than your mortal lives is your memories... So then, you probably don't even know who I am talking about, let alone why you should hunt him... Tell me, mortals, when did you meet a man named Anterson, or Asper, or Lehran or an explorer called The Cartographer?" Thinking for anpther second, the void walker adds, "If you cooperate, then any assistance you may have rendered him in your ignorance will be forgiven as just that." There is a pretty obvious otherwise implied at the end of that.

Vorbrin watched impassively as the cockroach squirmed in front of him.
"Let me see if I understand, you were sent by your big bad bosses to scout a way into the void dimension and wound up here, correct? So tell me, scout..." said the exquisitor leaning closer to the insect, "what did you find?"

Nathanial and Vorbrin: The cockroach whimpered and said, "Um... y-yeah. Things I found. Because I'm looking. Um... well, there was you and your four friends... The fire and dead bodies, the void hound and the three void walk-" It was that that point that the infernal insect was interrupted by a dagger sticking into its body and pinning it to the floor, and the sound of a second throwing dagger clanking off of Nathanial's armor.
Two void walkers appeared, the light of the cave almost seeming to peal away from their forms to reveal them. They drew their blades, advancing on the paladin and dwarf.

"You found a map in a... dragon's nose? Hmmmm... that is interesting." It appears obvious that the creature didn't believe her. With a sigh, the void walker confronting Feather and Ciaran shook its head and said, "Well, it is unfortunate that you had to be so difficult." With a flourish of its blade and a harsh shout, the void walker took a combative stance and began to advance towards Ciaran. Feather, meanwhile, would remember the marks from before and would notice a large, wounded hound-like creature with six legs starting to crawl out of the cubby hole in the cavern ceiling, glaring at her balefully.

Ciaran didn't like the threatening tone this monster took and remained mosty quiet. She couldn't quite decipher what he was yapping on and on and on about. Becaus eof that she was pretty slow on the uptake when the man decided to attack.

Once again Vorbrin whispered words of power into the bow and it glowed red in the presence of the exquisitor's enemies.
He drew back his bow silently and let the arrow fly into his left foe.

Vorbrin's arrow flies true, slamming into the voidwalker's bicep and causing it to stumble for a moment. However, while it was obviously a winding blow it does not appear to be lethal, and the two void walkers charge forward. They both seem to decide that Nathial, with his greatsword, is the larger threat at the moment, and their swords flash out at him. One of them manages to cut the paladin under his armor, drawing a crimson line below Nathanial's arm. ((13 damage... which is the max >.> )
The void walker pacing in front of Feather and Ciaran suddenly dashes forward, slashing at Ciaran and just barely managing to make a mark across the barbarian's face. ((8 damage, just barely hit))
Feather would notice that the hound has lowered its head, bringing the two scythe-like horns to bear and seemingly ready to charge her. ((Feather's go))

Feather maneuvers around a little bit, getting into a more favorable range to the scythed creature. "Careful, Ciaran. It has a pet." With that said, Feather starts throwing weapons at said pet.

Feather's weapons slammed into the hound in a hail of steel, causing the hound to growl in annoyance and pain. Barely able to stand, the hound charged at Feather and sliced her hip with a sweep of its horn. ((13 damage, Nathanial and Ciaran can go!))

The void walker took the first blow with a dancer's grace, lightly stepping back to only be moderately staggered by the blow. The second hit took the outsider full in the chest, causing it to drop to its knees and leaving it fully open to the finisher blow delivered executioner-style to the outsider's head. With a sickening crack, the void walker fell to the ground dead with its head twisted to the side at the most unhealthy looking of all angles.
((Kareeah, you hit. And unless you moved, you can attack TWICE in this round... also, voidwalker B is the already injured one.))

((If you mean my second BAB attack, yes I know. As I said I want to know what the effects of this one are first.))
Nathanial slashed one of the voidwalkers with lethal force, concerned that his foe might threaten his compatriot if given a chance. Seeing that the resultant blow had damaged his target rather significantly, he struck again, but this time with the flat of his blade. He was not hopeful that their aggressive actions would allow for more peaceful relations later on, but it was more likely than if they were all dead.
((Rolled 25 for the lethal-damage attack, 20 damage, and 18 for the non-lethal attack (including that nasty -4 penalty), 12 NL damage. All on the roll20 site.))
