Fred, do you really think that in today’s world, milita, no matter what kind of rifle they hold up in their hands, can actually overthrow governments by defeating a professional army like in the time of the musketeers? Before answering please consider that your military budget almost equals rest of the world combined.

So, how is that going to work exactly, let’s say your government decided to take in 20 million refugees, are you going to fight the military with your M-16’s, march to the White House and declare a coup? Are you going to shoot down the refugees themselves, wouldnt that be murder unless it is 100 % in self-defense. I mean, come on...

artu, you hand-pick what you read of my posts, ignore everything else, then fill in the blanks with your own content, and then respond to that; like THAT was what the snow i wrote originally.

could you NOT do that?

carrying on a discussion with someone who doesn't have the decency to even read what the other person is saying, and thus not even coming close to assimilating the opponent's views to have a coherent point to even counter... is not just getting old, it's a dead horse beaten into paste years ago.

as far as i can see, you only pull this extreme bs with me(everyone else seems to get "bs lite"), and you've done it endlessly.

why? do you just like pissing me off, or what?

Really, because this is exactly what you said, to quote you directly:

fred said:
according to our constitution and what our forefathers had in mind, the citizenry would act as it's own militia, and we'd have access to whatever our military has.

just so you understand what was intended:

our firearm rights, and our firearms, are there for us to overthrow our government if they don't act as servants to the populace, accordingly. tyranny and globalists existing in this country, and enforcing anything unconstitutional or traitorous to our nation or it's populace, is an abomination; and was never intended. our nation was created, and EXISTS to combat such an affront.

It seems pretty straightforward to me. So, how am I distorting what you mean when I ask “do you really believe militia can beat a professional army in today’s world?”

artu, question:

why do you think it is they're doing everything they can, without outright door-to-door confiscation, to not only disarm(through law) the law-abiding & gun-owning citizens of the U.S.(of which there are literally millions), but to also CRIMINALIZE legal gun owners/activists THEMSELVES, and their support of the constitution?

give this some real thought, then answer at your leisure. thinking is what's more important, here.

fred, whether you accept it or not, your country has a gun/mass shootings issue. They are way too common, more than anywhere else in the world by far. I dont have the time to discuss what is the proper way to solve this, has been done in its own thread anyway. But you don’t need an extra reason for some politicians pushing for tighten gun laws, there is real public demand for it, it is enough to explain the motive by itself.

you ACTUALLY believe they're going after millions of legal-gun owning, law-abiding citizens's gun rights because of crimes committed almost entirely by CRIMINALS with ILLEGAL guns?

really???

go back and READ everything i said about gun crime in the U.S.(and it's causes)in the thread the mods locked. ffs, KEEP reading and REreading until it clicks.

let me know ONLY when it clicks. i don't want to see another word out of you or anyone, regarding your pro-globalism anti-gun bs. if you don't get what the 2nd U.S. Amendment is FOR, then you don't get to talk about it, or anything pertaining to it. you will have effectively removed yourself from sane, adult conversation. anything posted to the contrary is only you displaying your WILLFUL ignorance, and making a fool out of yourself.

Lol. Yeah, it is the globalists trying to prevent your patriotic revolution, that’s why gun laws are a matter of debate in the U.S., not because of the regular mass shootings. The militia would defeat the military if necessary and they would re-esteblish the Constitution!

Ah, come on artu, you are no fun.

People need an assault rifle, just in case, you know. And a sufficient number of ammo clips. Throw in a couple of grenades, as well, you might have to take out a gun nest. Incendiary and frag, both may come in handy.

And while we are at it - I mean, those coup guys will probably command some tanks, so anti-tank guns are a must-have for every law-abiding citizen. And think about drones and gunships! Seriously, the people need rocket launchers to defend themselves.

That leaves you vulnerable, personally - so body armor. You need that as well. Yup. And the license to wear all that, at any time, at least on your own property.

I get it now, fred. You are lobbying for the arms industry. Let's arm everyone to the teeth and make a real fortune.

I would absolutey love to own an MBT. Would pick something other than an Abrams though, something with an autoloader, because smaller crew. like a Leclerc or T-90
And why stop there. Why not privately owned strategic bombers? Back when the glorious 2nd Amendment was written, civilians owned fully armed sailboats.
Also don't give this crap about only muh muskets please. Multibarreled guns and stuff like the Puckle Gun was a thing in the late XVIIIth century, despite it being experimental. By soy logic, the 1st applies only to parchments and ink quills.

I'm with Fredmuffin, we need guns.

I want to mount that automatic 40mm grenade launcher to my bleeping busted ass Ford hatchback, I wanna roll around in a Stryker with the turret mod(30mm Bushmaster autocannon one) like a motherbleeping boss. I want a GAU-8 Avenger rigged on a bunker in my front yard. I want to legally own a Mil Mi-24 Hind, with all the guns that come on it. IT IS MY GOD GIVEN RIGHT GOD BLEEPING DAMN IT.

@ jj: you say that like you know wtf you're talking about. ever been to the states? i've lived here my entire life. you, artu, and others don't know wtf you're talking about. blizz and other american leftists here, have only lived in sheltered communities; and all their "information" stems from leftist media/circles.

even though cor works/lives in a hot zone(high gun crime), he remains mysteriously quiet on the subject, despite him making a thread(?) about him getting a gun for PROTECTION some years ago.

i know wtf i'm talking about. i own legal guns and am part of the 2nd Amendment movement, i have been on the front lines and participated in the largest pro-2nd Amendment gathering in the state's history(as far as i'm aware), and i pay attention to not just what is happening countrywide, but worldwide on the subject of the populaces' ability to fight back against tyranny within their own countries.

notice how, in the no-gun countries in the world, those people are trampled under the boot of their oppressors?

here, they have to subvert movements and do everything they can to poison minds and demonize both the people who could stand against them, and the tools they would need to do so.

as well, on the flip side, i've hung out with actual criminals. i've actually spent time in ghetto neighborhoods where gun violence is frequent; and i know the culture. i know the people and what they represent to all americans, and even each other.

you anti-gun nuts don't even have an ELEMENTARY grasp of the subject. what you have instead, are what the controllers WANT you to think.

if you think that what i say is a "conspiracy theory", then you should  FIRST understand that the term "conspiracy THEORY", was literally created by our cia.

let that sink in. stop making fools of yourselves.

Nope, 60% of Americans WANT stricter gun laws (or as you might say are anti-gun nuts). Only 11% is like you, and you are the minority trying to force your deadly gun ideology down the majority of Americans throat without them wanting it.
