Back to US policies.

So the travel ban's ban was unanimously confirmed, which isn't much of a surprise in light of the fact that it causes a lot of chaos and trouble, but promises to gain, well, nothing, considering the danger that has come to the US out of those 7 countries. Because THAT court only had to check whether it was in the right of the judge banning the ban to do what he did.

It will go to supreme court.

On first look this doesn't make a lot of sense. At THIS point I think it's pretty clear, all things considered, that the Supreme Court will rule against the ban as well. Since it IS pretty clear, and the brains behind all this nonsense aren't THAT stupid, at this point I suspect we might see one or more "terror attacks" by people coming out of those countries.
We had maximum effect right AFTER the supreme court's rule. Imagine the scenario: TRavel Ban goes to Supreme Court. Supreme Court says no. A week later a double attack costs 100 lives, and investigations "prove", they werde done by Iranians and Iraqis. Or so. Then what? Might allow an attack on the supreme court as an institution with a drastic power increase for the executive.
Said terror effects between now and a supreme court decision would doubtlessly have an effect as well, but this would allow the Supreme Court to deal with the situation. This might only make the travel ban legal and increase Trump's standing and directional room, but not more.

Now, I know, sounds like I'd put my tin-foil hat on - but look at what is going on elsewhere: he suddenly plays peace with China, but gets a fit on the phone with Putin about New Start? He wants to return into the business of building up a nuclear arms arsenal? Whatfor?

Picking a fight with China over "one China"-policy was just stupid, I believe his aides have finally convinced him of that. He has nothing to gain from it, China is pissed and already flexing it's own muscles by stating it is readying even for a war. China and US have pretty tied economic relations as well. Trainwreck Trump. lol.

So now he is bowing down and apologizing. Trump on his knees, haha. His aides can't keep him from Twitter though, a week from now he sees a Fox News special about China taking american jobs and this starts all over again

And as for Nuclear Weapons, this madman thinks having more of them makes America stronger. He wants to look strong. He talked about them all the time in debates so don't be surprised. He doesn't understand "why can't we use them if we have them", his actual quote. His supporters full well knew this but don't seem to mind.

He isn't able to understand basic math - overkill has no additional threat potential. I mean, what is he supposed to do? "Umm, we have the capacity to destroy the USA completely, wipe it out, so hands off!" "Ha, we can destroy you 10 times over, take that, fragface!"
Idiotic.

Nuclear warheads were redundantly produced to provide for redundancy scenarios; rather than having 1 nuclear sub that is able to target X region, you have multiple subs that are able to do so. Also, if X facility is spontaneously destroyed or compromised, you have another facility that can perform that same act of mass destruction. So, there is enough potential to destroy China several times, but that isn't at all the reason why those additional warheads exist.

"Donald Trump doesn't know basic math" is another immature/kneejerk comment that of course isn't true. Once again, you substitute a man in place of a cartoon character.

Having seen your posting style for almost a decade now, I realize I am speaking above your emotional maturity level since I am explaining something while at the same not endorsing it, but in case anybody has any doubts, I guess I'll just restate here that I don't agree with the policy or for that matter even in the existence of nuclear warheads at all.

Okay, blizzardboy doesn't understand New Start, Donald Trunp doesn't either (they count LAUNCHERS, and 1550 are more than basic math), and of course he has no idea of basic math, that much he has already demonstrated´. Just look at his list of terror acts and claim the media underreported them.

You are not EXPLAINING something, you CLAIM something.
I claim something as well (say, DT doesn't understand basic math) - you claim something else (he does, you post above my emotional maturity level).
I can make a case for my claim (example listed). Now you can't just say he does, although it seems he SHOULD. Because you don't have any proof. ACTUALLY I think he COULD understand it - but he isn't interested. Math is way too objective and beyond his control, so he just isn't interested. Except where it can be used to warp facts.

Anyway. I have no problem with arrogance. Coming off with "speaking above your maturity level" is cool, bro. But the pussy statement after that? Grow a pair of balls.

Over 2000 nukes have been used for testing if we go by official statistics I doubt they'll have such a distopian result if we dropped a few in slightly different locations, but I agree with your sentiment, nukes are simply not effective tools in our arsenals, even the notion of deterrence is close to breaking point (they'd make great fireworks tho). Also there's an academic argument circulating atm that claims that states with atomic capabilities mature and become more peaceful as a result as opposed to the alternative (i can dig up some political scientists if you're curious), personally I don't share this idea, but the research is interesting nevertheless.

I think it's pretty normal to want to be understood.

Besides, there's plenty of people here that support Trump or mostly support Trump. It's not like I would gain a leper status if I did.

For me, it would take the removal of Executive orders entirely for me to be satisfied and all actions of war determined by Congress to never be changed again. What I find interesting here in the States is that as long as it was Obama doing this crap? No uproar, no hub-bub, no riots...hardly a word anywhere from anyone did I hear or see.

The Office of President should never have "granted" as a one-person show, and that's goes back years now. We might as well have Kings again, with this back-pedaling Political Elite that we now have in place.

I move that no Nation be ruled by the decisions of ONE person for any reason whatsoever under the sun...including WAR. In the case of a tied-vote...then the Prez makes the difference and only then.

Since when wasn't there protest over some of Obama's orders?

Anyway, imo, I think it's clear why the recent order is having problems: it has a weak constitutional basis along with pretty hazy practicality, which is why it has created unrest even in his own party. The idea wasn't even much on the radar until the 2015 attack in California. Trump's initial comments made big waves, almost entirely negative; not that it stopped him from eating through the more modest-spoken competition. The liberal media suffers some responsibility in his rise to power for giving him so much publicity. Not that they need to stop reporting the news but there was never a rule that said they needed to slap his face on the front page 40 times in under a year. That was them getting played. He might not know what 5+5 is, since he doesn't know math, but he's still a veteran when it comes to crowds.

There is a precedent of the executive branch making a military order since the early 19th century with the US Navy, without interference from the federal courts, so I don't expect that to go away, at least not completely. If this recent order fails, that will theoretically limit such orders more in the future.

Of course, some of it will boil down to prudential judgement. Hardly anybody at the time of the first executive orders would have argued with hunting down pirates or going through Congress to declare war on... what? Other executive orders will carry far less weight, especially quasi-superstitious/phobic ones that split up families and aggravate many of its native Middle Eastern descended  citizens.

Btw

Maybe but not necessarily. So far the judiciary has agreed 4-0 that the order was to some extent unlawful. It is possible for the Supreme Court to decline review if they view the issue as already settled.

Right now it's looking like we'll see the next steps to this unfold on Monday or Tuesday.

It's not looking like it. Probably his lawyers managed to convince him that they don't stand much of a chance of winning a case at the SCOTUS, especially at one conservative judge down. Maybe they'll argue the case on merit back at the lower court. But it seems like instead they will write a new executive order, maybe with a little more thought put into it this time.

Visine should just get it over with and rebrand itself to "Eyedrops for Pussies". I use their stupid **** painless eyedrops to get moderate relief at best for 2 hours. Enough is enough, I get in the cupboard and mix up an organic apple cider vinegar solution that aggresively kills bacteria. Plop it in, feel the burn, and the next day the damn infection is dead.

Don't be afraid of nuclear weapons. It's *not* an argument. People already don't care much about other people, sometimes they even hate people they say hi to.
