Next M&M game possibly to take place around the fourth Eclipse
This is complete speculation based on nothing more than the following, but the official Might & Magic facebook has just updated the following photo:

Could this be a hint to were the next Might & Magic game would take place? According to the official timeline, it would be around 4th eclipse.

I actually think it's something about Heroes Online. Because H7 is way to premature. If our suspicions are right, they just begun the work 1-2 months ago.

Yea, I fear is something about open beta on Heroes Online. I sure hope it's actually Heroes 7 being announced. Let's no get our hopes that high tho, so we don't get disappointed as WO used to say.

Maybe the whole team wasn't working on H7 back then, but they already started with the basic. As MMX was getting close to it's release, more and more people could immediately be repositioned on H7.
Besides, it makes sense with MMX abrutd end of support & content.

Open beta of Heroes Online has already started on several languages (not English to my knowledge). And HO doesn't take place much earlier?

A M&M announcement at Gamescon is looking likely, seeing all the Hype they are building.
Will it be a Heroes of M&M game? Maybe.
Will it be set during the 4th Eclipse? Maybe.
Will it be Heroes set during the 4th Eclipse? I pray to the Dragon Gods it is not. We need a fresh story perspective. Not the same perspective we've redone already. Enough with the Eclipses. Be creative!

I fully agree with you, WO.
There is also the (slim) chance H7 story would take place around the 4th eclipse, but not focused on it...one can dream.

Who says the new M&M announcement, if we're getting one to begin with, is for a new Heroes?
A different type of game might make things more interesting.

For certain? no one.
But we all know that Limbic is working on a secret project. That it is RTS/TBS strategy game. That it's likely to be a M&M game (they've been working with Ubisoft for the past years with M&M brand...).
Then you add that the two previous time, a Heroes title started the 'wave' of a M&M products focused around a certain timeline.
And the FB pics of H1-4 which would end...just before Gamescom.
I assume it's going to be Heroes 7 because it seems very logical to me. But it's speculation, nothing assured.

I for one would love to see a Might & Magic RTS, but I found it very unlikely to happen.
I think you will agree a Heroes is much more likely than a RTS, don't you?

I do.
But if this whole 4th Eclipse thing is indeed the case, it's all the more reason to advocate outscourcing the creative writing. Erwan is more and more showing himself to be a one-trick pony.
Again, if this is indeed the case. I'm hoping we're connecting the dots wrong.

I heard luckily some snippets, part from the music of this unnamed project! Hope it will be as good and fresh as the soundtrack itself!
And i know 4 things from the soundtrack, and now with this new FB informations may be 5 i can't say what things.
