I actually think it is the same one, or atleast the assetss are tthe same

Wow, this is exciting to come home to!
My initial thoughts in some random order:
- Psyched about Academy being in. The town-screen looks amazing! Less thrilled about the creatures so far, but will give it time.
- Two Champions?
- New Haven artstyle looks DARK! That's a nice change.
- A bit disappointed at having to choose between Sylvan and Fortress. Both are factions I'd like to see in, but I have to pick Sylvan without second thought. What will next vote be - Dungeon vs. Inferno? Dungeon vs. Sanctuary? Inferno vs. Sanctuary? Sanctuary is the only of the remaining three I want in, but I'm pretty sure Dungeon will win either matchup.

I guess that Angel represents Haven in general. The new "dark" Haven is Wolf Duchy Haven, pretty much like Haven from mountains. You can see some of their units from Duel of Champions game on page 3 that I've posted.

It's a drawing that contains numerous mistakes in represented buildings: an artist wasn't even able to make some lines parallel where it's required. Looks like a shot from a worthless browser game.

Wow, H7 is on it's way.
I am a little curious that it's happening so soon after H6 
I really hope that it will be different and a new entry into the series and not rushed through.
Storyline
So it looks like it's taking place in 843 YSD.
This was during the 4th total eclpise where the demons stormed the Falcon Empire's capital city, Falcon Reach. When they were repelled, the various Dukes of the noble houses fought over the Empire to claim the thrown. Duke Ivan of Griffin conquers the crown and thus the Empire is renamed "Holy Griffin Empire".
So H7 seems like it will deal with this storyline going forward where Ivan is trying to restore peace by gathering a councilor from each of 6 distinct factions. This rules out Inferno being in the vanilla! I would like them to include Sylvan and Fortress both to make up the six.
Factions
Haven looks good, kind of dark grey and red. Like it alot.
Academy....hmmm not sure sure on the cabal and bird. Not sure if artwork on Djinn and Titan are final....straight out of Ashan Compendium.

My problem with AC. only 4 spots and I have 5 units to fit in them
Derwish, Mage, Gargoyle, Rakshasa, Golem.
Golem and Gargoyle are most likely in... Soo.. No mages?

I don't see a Wizard faction without mages on their lineup. Rakshasas are a must imo, they're cool!
Either we have a classic lineup (together with Magic birds and those pesky demons) or they throw to the bin Golemns or Gargoleys

I find it very difficult to believe that you have pick between Sylvan and Fortress and that the faction that isn't chosen (Fortress please. The Elves CANNOT be shafted again :eyes) is just scrapped altogether.
Whichever of Sylvan/Fortress isn't it is probably DLC or in an upcoming expansion pack, right?
Also... any thoughts on the next match-up? (lol it's totally Dungeon vs Sanctuary. gtfo Dark Elves)
The most positive thing about this however is that INFERNO IS FINALLY OUT. HOORAY.

I think the losers of the vote get expansions or DLC. Or they team up with the enemy? Remember, we're voting on the ones who get to sit on the Shadow Council.
I agree that it is very unlike that the losers get the axe altogether.
As for the next matchup, yeah, that's probably Dungeon vs. Sanctuary.

Looks out of scale. Good. H6 tried to make everything up to scale, but this does not work, it only made maps look small. these look much bigger, even as small s they are.
And... Reused assets... as expected... (tree of life anybody)
Edit: 4: rare resources? Dragon Blood crystal A, Dragon Blood Crystal B, Shadowsteel and Starsilver. Those are my cents
