So I got the spell lvls wrong. I've no problem being able to learn multiple lvl spells from one skill-lvl. But perhaps you were right and it was a slip o' the tongue.

So my understanding is that Erwan mentioned it as an example of gameplay topic on which there was no clear fan consensus and therefore was a good example of the kind of feature that could be voted. However, what he didn't know is that this feature had already been discussed with the VIP fans early during production (with arguments for and against all proposed systems), and a decision had already been taken.

I'd rather keep only 4 levels of spells and make the difference betweeen levels a bit higher, and make higher level Magic Guilds cost more.

I can "not care" simply because I have an opinion. I dislike the fact tha each hero must have an interesting special simply due to the fact, that such an ability drives the focus away from the character itself. Did anybody actually like Gule for his character? Or for his ability to make sharpshooters? (fact I hate that character). Did H2 or H4 need any special abilities to create unique and memorable characters? The reason I don't care, is because I won't care in the game as well. I will chose the hero I like as a character and adjust my strategy to him. not the other way around.

then why have heroes at all? you can choose your protrait and BAM you have your own hero. don't tell me you actually notice their story ingame.

Specializes in Xcreature. Xcreatures in hero's army gain +1 to their attack and defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level
is much more interesting than this:
+1 elite creature per week
in my opinion
i'm not accusing you of anything i'm just very surprised. each to his own i guess. I really dreaded the heroes 6 specializations.

Tell Xavier there's no need to apologize: mistakes can happen in a live event, and in the end the amount of questions was rather high. The best he (well, both of you ) could do is correct your statement just like you've done now

Sorry, I meant levels of spells. Cause in stream I heard about 5 levels of spells and 4 levels of magic guild.

Just a small gribe, but naming the middle skill level "Expert" is a really REALLY bad idea, because through most Heroes games, expert level has been the highest level. If you want to deviate from the basic/advanced/expert scheme I don't have too much problem with that, but please find another name than "Expert" for middle level then.

I must admit this makes sense. But I still like the number 5 more than 4.

If it's not broken, there's no need to fix it. I mean players loved the old 5 lvl per school, I know that we are having 7 spell schools which will change the things a little , also as Alci said putting expert as a middle term isn't a good idea, better novice->veteran->master. Just my two cents

I actually like it. It reflects the 3 ranks of the Medieval guilds. Sure, some had more ranks in between, but all guilds had Novice, Expert and Master ranks.

I also like it, and I don't think going down to 4 levels is necessary a bad thing. At least is not a drastic change.

And it's confirmed there are three levels of skill masteries, just like H3 & H5.

Jumping from novice to expert seems a bit wtf. That and there is no good reason to change the traditional basic/advanced/expert.
